i know that jiraya tried to stop oro from fleeing the village but failed. idk if any fighting was involved like when naru tried to stop Sasu!

I see, so it was Jiraiya who tried to stop him, but failed. In the Naruto world, trying to stop most likely means they probably battled, and since Orochimaru obviously escaped, then yeah, Jiraiya failed/lost. Assuming that's the case.

Jiriya can't beat Orochimaru. He barely beat him in the end with Tsunade's help.

Jiraiya and Orochimaru is like the current Naruto > Sasuke (except Jiraiya got good on his own skills; he doesn't need a demon fox to augment his skills).

The Sannin fight is not a good measuring stick for who's better out of Jiraiya and Orochimaru, since summons were mostly used in that battle.

So, that's it then? No one's really going to say anymore on Jiraiya vs Deidara? How Deidara could potentially beat Jiraiya? Or how exactly Jiraiya would deal with an airborne Akatsuki member?

I agree also in the sanin fight everyone was impaired in some way. jiraya was poisoned by tsunade the day before. Oro was still feeling the effects of the death god Tsunade had a hang over.

If Jiraiya won, Orochimaru wouldn't have been able to leave. Think of such simple things before riding off that instance so quickly.

And those bombs would hurt Gamabunta, how? And anything that Deidara cooks up that's big enough to cause substantial damage to 'bunta, the Boss Toad will dodge it.

@Setoshi--My point remains valid; summons where mostly used in that battle. Also, Orochimaru had Kabuto, so he wasn't as handicapped as people think. Jiraiya was nowhere near top form, thanks to Tsunade's drug. The only thing wrong with Orochimaru was his arms, he retains his speed and he can still use his Kusanagi.

Gama is a giant toad not a giant metal toad. Deidara's C2 would dmg Gama enough to force him to leave

Maybe. But Deidara is pretty fast even in the air. Especially in the air. I think Deidara would be a hard target to hit since he's so small and fast. And Gamabunta is hella slow compared to Deidara and his clay bird.

Unless you're giving a whacked implication that Gamabunta has more durability than a bijuu, Deidara's bombs can definitely hurt him. In all honesty, summons are nothing to Aka members.

nothing lma0o0oo0o0o they can eat any of the aka members easily plus all jirioaya has to do is use the katon and deidara is a goner and his teeny weeny bombs can't hurt gamabuntan he survived a blast from shukaku and i AM SURE DEIDARA ISN'T STRONGER THAN SHUKAKU.
