Sex: Male.

Origin: He was born in the country of Hell.
Hair Color: Bald.
Eye Color: White.
Height: 5'9.
Weight: 201lbs.
Relatives: All dead.


Mental Strengths: Extremely loyal.
Mental Weaknesses: Once his abilities are trumped, he gives up in all aspects.
Favorite Color: Unknown.
Favorite Quote: "Your future is foretold. As is mine. I will die a death that is suitable for a coward, and you will die a death that suits a brave hero. Just know that you too, will die soon."
Hobbies: Meditating and perfecting his taijutsu style.
Goal/Ambition: To keep his family alive at all costs.
Quirks: He's the weakest of the main branch Akatsuki members, yet he's the most valuable.
Greatest Strength: Loyalty.
Biggest Weakness: Speed.


Capabilities: He's a taijutsu master in his own right. While lacking the style that Neji and the Hyuugas have, and lacking the raw speed that Gai and Lee have, his method is very effective. His style of taijutsu is strictly defensive, and while his offense speed isn't great, his defensive/reflex/striking speeds are incredible. He doesn't seal up chakra holes, nor hit you with incredible force so as to bruise you. He strikes to break bones. To dislocate and dismember.
Weaknesses: He lacks the kind of speed that the other main branch Akatsuki members have. He also strictly relies on his style of taijutsu, so he has no ninjutsu, genjutsu, nor doujutsu.
Special Power: He has telepathic and telekinetic abilities. He can read minds, control the weak minded, lift and manipulate solid objects with his mind. He can also see the future.

Akane was a normal villager living a normal life with his parents, younger brother, wife, and two children in a no name village. He has special abilities, which he's used to protect them from any threats. He also developed his own taijutsu style of cracking/breaking bones with swift, hard hitting, precise strikes.

He eventually ran into the main branch's Akatsuki leader, who forced Akane into joining Akatsuki against his will. The two fought a rather short but intense fight, revealing to the leader that Akane had a true, once in a life time gift. He found that sort of thing useful, and blackmailed Akane into joining. Akane refused, but then realized his whole purpose in life was to protect his family, against all odds. Even if it meant leaving them and becoming a villain. The leader had Akane lead him to his family, and he quietly placed unbreakable seals on each of them. Only one person could activate the seals, the leader, and when activated, the seals blow up the victim the seal is attached to. So it was either join Akatsuki and leave everything you know and love, while they still live life. Or watch them die, then die yourself. Akane felt he had no choice but to join. But even then, he joined at a heavy price. Once Akane met the other main branch Akatsuki members (the original members), the leader decided to play a cruel game and force Akane to hone his telepathic skills even further. The leader sent the other members away, and used a jutsu that brought upon it's viewer a light that burned as bright as the sun (bright, not hot), which blinded Akane permanently. Akane eventually learned to adapt to his life with his vision gone. He perfected his taijutsu style and reflexes. He also nearly perfected his mental skills. Although technically blind, he uses his chakra and mental abilities to sort of make out his surroundings in his mind. 99% of the time, he's correct. But it's very draining on him, mentally. He has one jutsu also. Not any kind of jutsu used before. I don't even know if it can even be considered a jutsu. He's able to completely mind wipe someone (which is a major chakra drainer for him), and only uses it as a last resort.

Two countries actually. Heaven and Hell.

Akane's family meant everything to him. They were the reasons he lived life. Without them, he had no reason to live. And so, he'd truly do anything to keep them alive, even if it means killing the innocent and joining an evil organization against his will.

Yeah. =\ I forgot to mention that since becoming blind, his other senses (how predictable eh? lol) have become much stronger.

That's cool. So now...if someone's seven yards behind him, he can be, like, "Hi, <name of person>!" without even turning his back! (I think...that'd be pretty cool, though. That's something Mari is unable to do...)

Mmm, I guess spoilers are okay for this. In my fanfic, I had him being taken down by a team effort, but the one to actually land the finishing blow would be Naruto. The leader watched on and had a hunch that Akane would lose, so he'd be of no worth to him, so he activated the seals within Akane's family. Yes, he's THAT much of an ass.

Pretty much, although he wouldn't name names. He'd just let the person know that he knows where they are.

Maybe. I'll think about it.

His final showing in the fanfic will be his big fight, where he dies against a team. By the time he's almost dead, he feels that his family is no longer alive, and decides to betray the leader by revealing stuff.

Well, Naruto didn't get to finish off Kakuzu because Kakashi was such a glory hog, so this is Naruto's shot lol.
