Well if you want to read a good one read agato's story it is very good and is made by one of the biggest people on this forum (Lonely Ninja :P) so yeah read that one and it can help you write this one

Ok, to get people thinking, here is my suggestion. We use all the original characters (can make up some to help the story progress if need be) and we have it take place right were the manga is now. The main difference is that Sasuke joins Naruto (doesn't return to Leaf, just joins forces to accomplish his goal) and goes after Akatsuki. Naruto helps take out Shark boy (lol) so Sauke can go after Itachi. Then Sasuke will help take out the rest of the Akatsuki in return for Naruto's help.
