I really don't think Pein's eyes mean much, I think they are just family genetics. If Kishi makes them not do anything, I'll be pretty disappointed.

The partnerships don't have anything to do with power. Hidan or Kakuzu is probably more powerful than Kisame(not chakra-wise). But Kisame's paired with Itachi.

I believe that the stunning blue haired woman will be battling tsunade. Sakura would be my second choice of her battling.

I think Itachi will be the one killing kisame. Coz I think kisame is the 7 tailed shark.

Hmm, its going to be interesting. Pein who has never lost a fight, I wonder is that talking about every single battle he has been in his entire life, if it is, than Pein is a freakin dog. Madara described Naruto as a tough opponent, I hope Naruto can unleash. Like how did Madara know that Naruto has powerful jutsu? I'm shocked that he learned about Naruto's Fuuto: Rasen Shuriken at that. Perhaps Madara secretly watched Naruto's training with Jiriaya...

I expect Naruto to fight on par with Pein although he would have more experince and may get the upperhand in the long run, but than again, Naruto has the Kyuubi and its likely that Pein might face Naruto alone, and if he somehow got out of hand, things could get dangerious, but Naruto most likely won't resort to his more self destroying methods, which might cost him the battle.

Then we have the long awaited Sasuke vs. Itachi battle. Its destined to be a dynamic fight from the beginning to the end. We can expect fast speeds, sharingan genjutsu, back and forth coping of physical tactics, insane highly manipulated fire based jutsu from both sides, more elemental jutsu more both sides, a lot of clinching, blocking, and intersecting of moves from both sides, Itachi's shadow clone explosions, Sasuke's sword play (maybe), and cursed seal Sasuke possibly...

Suigetsu vs. Kisame. I really want to see this one as well. Accordingy to Kisame, Suigetsu was a master in the art of murder. We also know that Suigetsu battled with Juugo and is pretty good at handling Zabuza's huge katana. Him coming from the hidden mist village, we can assume that he knows water based jutsu as well as hidden mist jutsu.

Suigetsu is quite strange, he can pump up his muscles as well has turn to liquid when striked hard, possibly from the experiments, I would like to see more of his talents. Than we have Kisame, one of the Seven Mist Swordsmen. Kisame has an insane amount of chakra and can use highly manipulated water based jutsu. Kisame also is a master swordsmen and wields that huge sword with great power. Kisame's blade also has a mind of its own and can output offensive teeth and cut and absorb chakra fields. The battle will be very interesting.

I don't know if Sakura would fight the Akatuski chick, but I guess it would be interesting as well. We have Sakura, who has such great chakra control that she could manipulated to such a state in which she could grant herself superhuman strength, medical ninjutsu, so she maybe be able to heal herself in battle. I wonder if she could imploy a simlar jutsu that Tsunade used in the battle with Orochimaru and Kabuto. As for the Akatuski Chick, I wonder how strong she is, we don't even know her name.lol I bet she is pretty talented, the quite ones are always deadly...

I'll vote Pein and Naruto fight...

I don't think so. Naruto will have a half fight (Getting beat up) with the leader then be rescued and forced to retreat to get one of his injured team mates help. During the time he is away he will train up so he will complete his Hurricane jutsu that will be awesome to go back and fight more.

I was just thinking everyone who naruto has fought in the past who was insanely strong had a change of heart or was defeated in the battle (other than Sasuke). One of Naruto's uncanny special abilities was how he was able to change the hearts of his opponents through willful determination to be Hokage or save his friends. Now I'm definitely not sure if he could do this to Pein but who knows, maybe Pein has some skeletons in his closet that pop out during their possible battle.

Pein has just been dispatched to go get Naruto, so i think that he and Naruto will fight after a few chapters. This may be a way for Madara top test how strong Naruto actually has gotten. To fight someone who has never lost a fight before and is Madara's (sorta)right hand man.
