It's quiet because everyone has work to do, and can't spare much time on forums.

Good luck with the fanfic, it's best to post it on fanfiction.net for reviews (don't hope for too many; there are a lot of people who just visit, but don't post reviews). Sorry, I'll decline the invitation though.

But, if your fanfiction will be based on NaruHina, you can post it in the FC. We'll gladly give input.

Now... why did I go online..? I wanted to say something, but forgot what. Oh well, I'll edit this post when I wemember what it was.

yeah. I'm trying to actually make a REALISTIC fanfic with minimal OC's. OC's ruin everything. I mean there isn't going to be a character that jumps in and pushes them together. I'm just going to use Sakura and Jiraiya mostly, and on the side a little Kakashi and perhaps some Tsunade added to the mix. Heh...I wonder how I should make Neji act. We haven't seen him and Hinata interact yet.

whoa...i guess i wasn't the only one who's been really busy lately.

in ne case, i started working on the fanfiction again. i have alot of studyin to do this weekend and next week for my exams...but i might have the chapter posted by next weekend

@i'm not crazy...good luck with your fanfiction, i dont have the time to beta in an official capacity, but if it's a naruhina, you should post it in the fc like silencer said and i'd be happy to give you some feedback when i can.

I disagree. OC's do throw off the whole mood that Kishi set up in the first place, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. All of the NaruHina fanfics are written BECAUSE Kishi didn't create the NaruHina mood in the first place.

It's all a matter of opinion and/or taste.

well, the thing is, that he COULD make it happen. But it's complicated. OC's make it TOO different and too easy. And besides, even when there are OC's, they just make a circumstance that could possibly be made by the normal characters. And connections are often made that are completely RETARDED and things and moves are made that are completely IMPOSSIBLE and would NEVER HAPPEN. That and even though the circumstance is made, Naruto and Hinata ALWAYS quickly go out of character. I mean the WAY Naruto falls in love is always just so ooc that it's scary! It may be hard to make him stay in character when that happens, but someone should actually TRY or make like 5 revisions until it works.

my only reply to going out of character in naru/hina is that it would be near impossible for naruto to maintain the character/personality that he does in the manga/anime if the purpose is for him to fall in love. for one, naruto's major character flaw is that he's too dense and unless his life of the lives of his friends are in imminent peril, naruto basically has no clue as to what is occuring around him. he'd NEVER fall in love if that remained to be the case, and he would most definitely not be able to keep a girlfriend that way either haha...secondly, even in real life, people change when they fall in love. that's the whole point behind it being such a strong emotion, your entire world becomes less introspective and self-centered. your entire outlook on life and what's important to you changes. in fact, one of the most realistic naruhina fanfics would probably spend part of an arc where both naruto and hinata consider giving up their own personal dreams in order to help the other achieve theirs. it sounds really sappy, but it comes with the territory.

see, the thing is, with some intervention (ie Sakura or Jiraiya or someone telling him stuff), he may become less dense. It's not after he's in love being ooc that bothers me, it's HOW he falls in love. it is ALWAYS in a TOTALLY ooc way when it happens. I mean a gradual way with some intervention, someone could easily write a good none ooc Fanfic.

Why has nobody ever discussed this before? I'm having interventions every seven words that you guys write. Oh well, can't back out now that I've gotten so far with writing "ooc" characters.

That's why fanfictions are the hardest things to write; you're very limited due to the set up personalities. If I had known that it's wrong, I wouldn't have made an OC, or this story it in the first place... I'm confuzzled out of my tiny little mind... thanks a lot "I'MNOTCRAZY".

My suggestion is: do not start a fanfiction if you don't have the time to work on it. Unless you're a total jerk, you'll end up apologising to people that you've hooked up for not updating at a regular rate.

I'm going to take back what I said about my OC. Even now, if I were to restart, I would put one OC into my fanfic. What the hell is the point of writing if you can't let creativity flow?

hey, whatever you like. I don't like OC's in some parts. I'll have a second one subsequent to it that will be almost completely OC's.

I'll do it during vacations. My school gives me a lot of homework and there are mandatory sports, so I don't have much freetime to write. It's hard enough finding time to come on here.

I don't think my opinion qualifies as "considerable" (unless I use the word "considerable" next to the words "amount of time spent on thinking", and I don't feel like it).
