So, what are your thoughts on the upcoming season, Taijiya?

@I'mNOtCrazy, I'm not a fan of Kataang (Katara/Aang). I think that it's kinda boring and obvious. I like Zutara (Zuko/Katara), even though it may not happen at all. ;_;

Either that or KataHaru (remember Haru? He was powerful and he's probably better now.) I don't like KataAang because it would be too cliqued and just plain NASTY!!! Sophomore age with an 8th grader...*shudder*

I'm glad to be here. I just got into Avatar recently, and sadly have only seen the first 15 episodes of the second season. xD

I did see the preview for the third as well as read an interview pertaining to it. I'm pretty damn excited, I love the new designs. And from what the interview said, this season is supposed to wrap up Aang and Zuko's stories, since Avatar was originally intended to be only three seasons (but I believe their now planning on 6, so hopefully the stories wont be finished).

Zuko and Mai has my interest as a pairing. Currently Mai lacks character development, but I'm not ready to rule out the possibility of it being interesting.

I like Katara and Aang together, because I think they're moments thus far have been sweet. Aang is only two years younger than her... that's not much at all. o.o What's wrong with a girl dating a younger guy? My best friend's mother is two years older than her husband, and from the stories I've heard, her daddy has wanted to marry her mother since he was 14.

So their ages don't bother me at all. It's kinda obvious so far that their relationship is very mature and they help each other out on an emotional level that's good for a relationship.

I do like Katara and Zuko, for fanon. They have great fanarts! Very smexy pairing. xD

I like Sokka with everyone, really. He's too funny. Toph goes well with either him or Aang. xD

I don't have a true OTP yet, I'm still waiting until I get to see Season One. lol

i'm just saying that a relationship between two people at that age with that age gap has to wait. Girls, as all of us know, mature faster, so Katara being the older one doesn't help.

Aang is emotionally mature for his age (from what I've seen). And I don't like their relationship on a sexual level at all, so for me it is not awkward. Aang and Katara just click, imo, and bounce off each other well in conversation. When they are both older, say Katara is 22 and Aang is 20... there is no problem whatsoever with the age difference. I guess that's how I look at it.

yeah, which is why I said if it is going to happen, it's going to have to wait at least 7-10 years.

he's not exactly mature for his age, he's just been put into a position where he must act a certain way. His behavior outside of protecting himself and others is rather juvenile .

Well, according to the trailer, Mai and Zuko ARE a couple, but I've seen some pics (from a YTV trailer from Canada), where it looks like their relationship is not going good. I'm not fond of that pairing anyways.
I think that Zuko needs to take care of HIS problems before he gets a girlfriend. And I would love to see Mai get more character development, cuz she's boring right now.

I heard about 3 more seasons, too, Taijiya. But that could be a rumor. I would love more seasons!
If there were more seasons, who do you think they would focus on, since the first 3 seasons focus on Aang and Zuko?

yeah i read on the emmy website that avatar was nominated for best outstanding animated but it seems that it lost to south park. i loved south parks last season but i still think that avatars second season had a great story an should have won. anyone else think so?
