It's a cartoon. Anime are cartoons made, directed, all that stuff, in Japan.

Just because Avatar is animated in Korea, doesn't make it anime. It's creators are American.

Anyways, I feel that Avatar should have won. south Park is good, and all, but Avatar is BETTER, IMO.

Well, according to the trailer, Mai and Zuko ARE a couple, but I've seen some pics (from a YTV trailer from Canada), where it looks like their relationship is not going good. I'm not fond of that pairing anyways.
I think that Zuko needs to take care of HIS problems before he gets a girlfriend. And I would love to see Mai get more character development, cuz she's boring right now.

Zuko's a pretty cool character, but I absolutely love Iroh <3 Though I heard his voice actor passed away from cancer. =(

Mai totally needs more development. Same for Ty Lee (though I feel she has more personality than Mai), and Azula so far is a bit one-dimensional, but she certainly has personality. xD

Me too. I hope it's not a rumor.

I'm not sure who's the seasons would focus on... maybe the creators would just extend Aang and Zuko's destinies, you know? But they might do kinda like Digimon and have a new cast, but I don't know how much I'd like that. xD I love Katara and Toph so I'd like see more of them, definitely.

Also, There is a commercial on NICK!! Better news, we are going to get 10 STRAIGHT WEEKS of new Avatar!!!! Also, I thought that it was going to be on 8PM, but it's going to be on 8:30 pm.

Mako, who was the VA for Iroh, did indeed die from Cancer. I think he died last year. They now have a new VA (Greg Baldwin), who had his debut in the Chibi short "School Time Shipping". He really good, but you can tell it's not Mako.

For those who have not seen that short, I'll go get the link for you.

Thank ya, and I'll get started on banners on... Sunday, maybe. XD

So, my favorite characters are Zuko, Iroh, Ty Lee (the circus girl), and Toph. Favorite bending style is fire (fire > all).

Also, can anyone learn how to use different bending styles? After Iroh studied the Waterbenders he learned how to channel the electricity that Firebenders can use. I just think it'd cool if Toph could learn Firebending and Earthbending and use them together, or for Katara to use Air- and Waterbending (just like Haku XD).

Lonely, From what I understand, other benders can't learn other elements other than their own. What Iroh learned wasn't waterbending. He just learned their movements. He can't waterbend. The only one that can use all elements is the Avatar.

Blake, those shorts were teh win! The first is my fave.
Seriously people, watch those shorts!!!!!!!!XD

I know it wasn't exactly Waterbending, but he had the movements down. And exactly what is the nature of bending? Just chi/ki/chakra manipulation?

chi. not chakra, alhough the TRADITIONAL idea of chakra is used: there are 7 chakras, each of which is aligned along the spinal cord. They are the loci of life energy, chi. Kishi's version of "chakra" is more like chi than chakra. "Chakra" is the life energy in Naruto, and it runs through a pseudo-circulatory system, as chi does in traditional theories. Basically, Kishi just swapped the names.
