Neji Shouldn't be a Jounin Thread

Naruto or Sasuke would grind Neji to dust it he tried to face them.

He was always the best of the Genin. He was the only member of Sasuke's rescue team in part 1 that beat his opponent without the help of enhancers or other ninja. Why shouldn't he be a Jounin?

No he wasn't. Chouji beat his guy alone as well. And he wasn't the best Genin. Naruto and Sasuke were the best, and Neji was a year older with more experience and training.

He said without enhancers.

Chouji had his pills. Not to take away from his victory. I mean, it was him and Neji that were the ONLY ones who defeated their opponents one on one.

Oh. Well they were the weakest ones anyway. If Neji would have went against anyone but the first two he would have needed help too.

Yeah, unfortunetely, he was virtually the only one in the team to kill his opponent without any help or enhancers. No one else on their team did so. =\

Kidomaru was a brilliant tactician, was the only one to figure out Neji's weak spot out of the whole show, and was a good match for a strictly taijutsu user. Neji would have beaten any other Sound Four easily, Kidomaru's style was perfect against Neji's in every way.

Now, onto the Jounin part. We don't know exactly what qualifys Jounins, but it's safe to assume Neji's taijutsu prowess and overall chakra management is far beyond any of the Rookie 9 (Sasuke included). His style is definentviely more deadly then either Lee or Gai's, and Neji Byakugan is the strongest of all the Hyuugas.

Don't be ridiculous. Theirs no proof behind that. And Sasuke is too much for neji too handle. Neji can't beat Naruto either. It's funny how you say Neji's Byakugan's the strongest of all the Hyuugas when overall he's not that strong.

lollll i have no arguement cuz i dont care if neji is a jounin but i would say tht neji can never learn ninjutsu greater den of naruto's or sasuke's

but i dont care if he i a jounin i think he deserves it neway

Neji would decimate Naruto, and could probably handle Kyuubi Naruto up until two tails.

Also, Neji's Byakugan can see 8 times farther than the average Hyuuga's can, and he's the only one to demonstrate a long-range chakra based attack. He also self-taught himself the Hyuuga's more deadly techniques.

Neji mastered the Byakugan BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE in the clan and took it to a whole new level. If that doesn't scream jonin then I don't know what does.

Also he would have probably beat Sakon and Ukon because the only ability they have is to merge with your body and I don't know about you but he can do palm rotation which is a defense that makes it nearly impossible for Ukon and Sakon to merge with him. All he has to do it stop their chakra flow to their heart and kill them.

Don't get me started on Tayuya. She uses her flute to menuver the 3 bodies around and you must forgot that he can see them with byakugan because he can see your chakra which makes it a lot easier to dodge the attacks where as Shikamaru couldn't see where they were so he had a tough time. Also palm rotation can help block the white ghost things that come out of their mouth. Tayuya herself can't really fight all to well by pure strength so that about game right there. All he has to do once he dodges the 3 bodies is do 64 Palms of Divinity and he will drop her like a bad habit.

I don't know what your beef is with Neji but at least open your eyes...

He said his taijutsu prowess is better than Sasuke's, which is true. Sasuke based his taijutsu style on Lee's, and Neji > Lee. Also, he said his chakra management is better, which is also true, considering how fast we saw Sasuke's chakra get drained during his fight against Deidara. Sasuke uses up his chakra supply like there's no tomorrow. Neji uses his chakra combined with his taijutsu style, which he's never shown to be drained very much during fights, chakra wise.

No, Sakura has the best chakra control. There's a difference.

Sasuke doesn't need to use genjutsu on Neji, and he could read all of his movements with his Sharingan. And he is stronger then him and faster without CS.

Who cares how far you can see when someone punches right in your face point blank.

I don't even think Sakura has the "best" chakra control: she just releases insane amounts of chakra at the point of impact, Neji can consecutively hit pressure points the size of a pin with little bursts of chakra in the heat of battle.

@kidmac--There's not a sole alive who can surprise Neji, his awareness is instantaneous.

Also if you can see 8 times farther than a regular hyuuga you forgot you have to go TOWARDS him to be able to hit him in the face at point blank range which means he can see you and probably think of the way to take you out while you are approaching
