Itachi discovered Madara Uchiha when he was at least 17, Sasuke was 8.

Which would make Fugaku 40 ( and he was at the time of the Massacre.)

Now Fugaku wanted the same thing the Legendary Madara wanted, to bring the Uchiha clan to power over the village. Now Why wouldn't Fugaku AND his wife be around at that particular time? Could be nothing could be something.

What If it was Fugaku that fought Minato? He new so much about the Sharinghan, he could have known how to control the 9 tails. besides I'm sure they didn't send messenger pigeons to tell the other villages who there Jinchuriki was! Which explains why he had a mask on. Just in case it didn't work, he could still safely enter the village again. Also he knew how to get thru the barrier.

He paid attention to Itachi first, as did Madara.

He was betrayed by Itachi because he loved the village enough to NOT betray them.
Madara couldn't attack Konoha because of Itachi. which was his power house, then he got sick.
Then he focused on Sasuke,after itachi died. Which also freed up Konoha to be attacked.

Fugaku knew how to activate the MS, but what if he couldn't bring himself to kill his closest friend. (which most of us would think that to be his WIFE.)

But under the guise of Madara he informed Itachi of how to do it. To itachi no ONE person is greater than the village. He coulda seen killing Shisu and gaining MS as a better way to protect Konoha IF it came down to it.

Let me add to that, Sasuke found them "dead". I'm sorry but Sasuke was 8! Plus without sharinghan so he could have been easily fooled to think they were dead. Now well what about the order from Danzo to kill em all?

IF he is the REAL Madara, why would he trust ANYONE from the Uchiha clan that turned against him those many years ago?
The story Todara told Sasuke i think was really about him(Fugaku) trying to get the clan to rally against konoha, but they just wanted peace. I say that because the Uchiha that Legendary Madara led was a WARING breed. But the Uchiha of Fugaku was a PEACE TIME breed. Of course they would be against it.
Okay look the first people to clean up and account for the dead bodies was Danzo's ninja. I think Fugaku and Danzo had a deal to split the eyes from the slaughter in return, Leave Konoha with with your family minus Sasuke.

I think that Fugaku-Dara was at the fight between sasuke and Danzo to make sure the REAL truth didn't get out.
Far as him having the same or similar power as Kakashi's eye?
HE (Fugaku) was well versed in the teachings and history of the Uchiha and Sharinghan! The Uchiha clan is full of inbreed members, It is HIGHLY possible that Obito is related to Fugaku-Dara.

Okay this is long as a DMV line so i will let you bash away at it or agree or justy say it sounds goo, whatever...................have at it!

Sasuke was fooled. Okay. So, the hospital people, and the corps collecting squad were also in a genjutsu hours later? And if someone diggs up the body, he/she is in a genjutsu or something like that?

The theory is implausible, wanna know why? The sharingan can see chakra flow and guess what? Itachi has a sharingan, so he would know if Fugaku was dead due to his chakra flow being no longer active. If he was still alive, he would've noticed his chakra flow being active. No chakra flow=dead therefore Fugaku is dead.

I see but Tobdara also wears specifically different type of uniform under that cloak, maybe it shields chakra sensors from reading his chakra.
would make sense that sensor types can't tell wear he is about to warp in or out from.

I think that itachi "allowed" Fugaku-Dara to slaughter his parents. I mean if he couldn't kill sasuke why would he be able to kill his parents?
Or to help him cover up his death Fugaku-Dara might have volunteered to do it. " i understand you killed your best friend, your clan is even a heavier burden. Allow me to take the burden of slaying your parents."

As for the genjutsu comment?
Never said they were in a genjutsu. the bodies wouldn't go to the hospital or any morgue. They would be deposed of. Who disposes of bodies with Kekki Genki? Danzo's Ninjas, that's who.

Far as sasuke recognizing his father's voice or Itachi for that matter?
Okay you can grasp a 12 year old with a DEMON inside him, people walking on water, And everything else in this manga,BUT you don't think someone can disguise their voice? Isn't their a jutsu for changing your appearance? Doesn't that also include the voice as well?

Any IF I am right, then that is why he is NOT using MS.
Why is getting owned by other ninja.
Fugaku was the leader BUT Itachi vastly surpassed him and his son also.
He was as powerful and skillful as he was going to get.
He may have spent a lot of training time focusing on JUST the T/S jutsu he ALWAYS uses.

okay that was a dramatic way to get my point across. but anyway. They both have/had secrets. That's why Danzo called him Madara and Kabuto as well. I think that Orochimaru knew of it as well, I mean he did work with Danzo (well experiment on).

NO I am saying Itachi didn't KNOW Madara was Fugaku. SO to keep him from finding out FUGAKU-DARA offered to off "his parents". Therefore he still kept his identity secret.

also Since Danzo was in on it and collected Sharinghan due to it, he was NOT expecting to find Fugaku and Mikito. But he reported all was accounted for.


Also i think the REAL threat IF my opinion is true is MIKITO. i mean all this time WE thought the 1st whooped Madara's ass, it couldn't have happened IF his wife didn't help.

Minato was aided by Kushina giving him chakra and using her chakra chains to restrain 9 tails.

We know Kishi so far is none for havinf MOST of the female characters not so Bad ass except for a couple. Tsunade, Kushina, and Konan.)
