Who is Kakashi's best friend? (Mangekyou Sharingan)

Who is Kakashi's best friend? I mean who would he have to kill in order to obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan? I think that it might be Gai, because for some strange reason whenever two people are rivals, they are also best friends, in Naruto.

I see what you mean, but Kakashi isn't a blood Uchiha. He only has the Sharingan and that's it, which doesn't necessarily mean he can obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan. But yeah, if he had to kill someone in order to obtain it and was somehow able to, then he would probably have to kill Gai because even though they are rivals they are somewhat best buds...

ppl may see he doesn't have uchiha blood but memebr when obito gave kakashi the sharingan it only had 2 dots but he somehow got 3 more so im thinking u don't need uchiha blood and to answer your question i personally think Rin

If, and that's a big IF, Rin were still alive... Still, even if Rin was still alive, I somehow don't think Kakashi considers her his best friend. I guess I have to agree with you guys that Gai is the closest thing to a best friend Kakashi has these days.

If Kakashi were to kill someone for the mangekyou, it'd probably be Gai. But I doubt Kakashi would do something like that.

i see kakashi as a kinda loner not a big loner but u only see him with gai naruto saskue and sakura so i see them as his freinds

I'm personally not so sure that Rin is still alive. But what makes you guys think that Kakashi doesn't have it in him to try and kill Gai? It would be tough but I think that Kakashi has a hidden darkside from the pain in his childhood.
