Is Jaraiya's hair a kekkei genkai?

Looking at the latest chapter, 374 Chinese raws and from past chapters, do you think Jaraiya's hair could be a kekkei genkai? Granted, you would think since it's hair, anyone could do it. Yet I do not recall any other Shinobi in the Naruto world using a similar tactic.

Ino(pig) cutting her hair off and using it as a distraction against Sakura in the chunin exams doesn't count either IMO.

It probably would be, since the only other body manipulation techniques we've seen, like the multi-size jutsus, or the bone extrusion seem to be clan related.

But damn, talk about a lame kekkei genkai. Useful if you want to start a throwback heavy metal band though I suppose.

EDIT: Then again, there is the weird snake neck crap that Orochimaru did... But he wasn't human. Hard to say.

im thinking its just one of his own created jutsus...ive seen him use it as a sheid..now then a whip...now it turns into a beast..wow...

simply put, no. he just uses it in multiple ways, but it is just at jutsu that he either created or just uses with a new twist to it. And the power of the jutsu is based on his chakra capacity - showing how powerful Jiraiya.

He grew it out for a reason, and with such mastery of his chakra, he can use it as a deadly weapon.

Exactly. Not everything unique in the Naruto world is a Kekkei Genkai. Jiraiya is just that badass that he can manipulate even the smalls things and make it into a dangerous weapon. His hair is badass XD.

its similar to oro's jutsu were he can elongate his neck...

I doubt that its a KekkiGenkai. Its kinda hard to say what is and what isnt with every other ninja having abilities evidently unique to just them. KG or not, his hair is very versatile both offensively and defensively.

For all you hair buffs, another good one to see is Mino Nenki from the anime Basilisk.

there is no reason to believe that it is one...

its just something he thought of...i can assume its hard to do though...having to manipulate ur hair like that...every strand...
