Sorayai Uchiha

"Oh golly, you carried me too! Such a gentleman!" Utahime exclaimed as she took out her Harp and stood in front of her "audience." She cleared her throat. "Ahem. Now then, I shall be playing a song that I like to call 'Mystical Mysteries,' I hope you both enjoy it!" Utahime looked serious for a moment as she concentrated on her instrument, then she began to play a soft, mysterious and beautiful melody. Each time she touched the strings of the Harp, out came tunes that your ears would instantly fall in love with. 'Mystical Mysteries' was a song that Utahime had created to calm the hearts and souls of the dying back where she had lived.

Konika sat quietly and enjoyed the music of her sister, she felt all her worry be washed away by the calming melody; her mind was clear now, and she was at peace for the first time in a long time.

OOC: sure sakura, the more the merrier. =)

IC: Inato for some reason was very tierd. Having to fight two people and go through the incident with utahime just seemed to get to him. As he listend to the song, he began to fall asleep, and then he was out like a light.

Sorayai Uchiha

Sorayai looked at Kenshi, surprised, "Oh yeah? Where's this shortcut at?" Sasuke shook his head and sighed, "We aren't really in a rush, we've got a big fight ahead. We should really create a strategy.." Sorayai glanced at Sasuke, continuing to walk backward. "Yeah but---" she wasn't watching where she was going, and tripped in a small hole that was in the road. "Whoa!" Sasuke moved swiftly, with blinding speed, and caught Sorayai in his arms before she could hit the ground. He carefully helped her stand upright again, and tapped her shoulder. "See? Tripping like that on the battlefield would have cost your life..." his voice grew quiet. Sorayai's eyes fixed themselves on Sasuke, and she bowed her head apologetically, "Sorry, Sasuke. I'll be more careful." she looked to Kenshi. "Shall we take the shortcut though? We can still think of a good strategy."

Utahime put her Harp down and stared at Inato. She sat next to him and covered him with his cloak. "Awww, he's so cute when he's sleeping!" she said softly, careful not to awaken him. "You're so weird..." Konika whispered. "Anyway, we'd better keep watch over him tonight. Don't want anything to happen to him." Utahime turned her head to Konika, a bit shocked, "So you do care about him!" she whispered. Konika shrugged and nodded a bit, "Only because he helped you out."

Morning came and Inato was up early, he made a fire and started to cook some ramen. After he was done he walked over to konika with a bowl of ramen. "Here is how you should eat it. By th way did utahime ever go to sleep?" Inato asked as he atemted to hand the bowl of ramen to konika.

It's about 20 km from here.... that's just enogh time to decide if we are going to take it..., I say we do seems that Iwagakure villlage is in trouble so the sooner we get there the better...

Konika took the bowl, "Oh, it smells a hell of a lot better like this!" she smelled it then looked up at Inato, "Did Utahime ever sleep? I don't know honestly, I was kind of zoning out after that song. The thing I do know is that she said she'd be up in the highest tree here, so," Konika pointed up at the tallest tree she could find. "I guess she's up there."

Utahime sat atop the tree, playing her flute quietly. The melody was a sad one. She had a small audience of birds which sat peacefully on her shoulders, and one even had the courage to sit on her head. Utahime didn't mind, she loved Nature. She put her flute down and held it in her lap. "Well birdies, I think Inato has awakened. I should go down and check on them." She looked down to the land below, she was so far up... "Wow, I forgot how high up I was. Ah, well, I'll enjoy the view from up here a bit more." Utahime looked up at the sky, "I hope you liked the songs I played for you, mom."

Sorayai nodded at Kenshi and struck a pose. "Alrighty then, lead the way!" Sasuke smirked, "I'm ready to fight whenever we get there then. I've been wanting to try out my perfected Demon Vortex Shuriken..." he said. "These Akatsuki fellows won't have a chance against us, I bet." Sorayai reassured the team. Sasuke shrugged, "If we're smart and cautious---we should be able to win, I hope..." he said the last bit in a whisper.

Inato was sudnley beside utahime in the tree. "I made you some ramen." Inato said with a smile. "Did you get any sleep last nite?" Inato asked with a soft voice.

Sorayai Uchiha

Utahime turned to face Inato, and she smiled, pleased by his sudden appearance. "Weeeellll," she began as her eyes wandered about. "I can't quite remember if I slept or not. I think I did a little, then again, maybe I didn't!" The birds took flight now and went off to their homes. "Goodbye, birdies!" she called after them, "Come back soon and I'll play for you all again." she waved to her feathered friends and turned again to Inato. "Oooh, ramen. Thanks a bunch, Inato. Let's go down, I want to bother Konika." Utahime nodded and smiled at Inato one last time, giving him a friendly pat on the shoulder. "Let's go!"

She stood on the tree and jumped clear off the top, she fell with an increasing speed, and held her arms out like an airplane as she plummeted towards the earth. "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" she yelled. Konika watched from below, amused. "Been a while since you've done that," she said as Utahime came closer and closer to the ground. "I don't think you've ever jumped from that high---" Utahime completely ignored her sister and enjoyed the thrill of falling from such a high place. "Ohhhhh this is grrrrrr-eat!" she exclaimed.

Sorayai nodded and set her rather large bag on the ground. "Okay, well I brought some food and stuff." She began rummaging through the huge bag, trying to find some supplies. "I'll make the fire," Sasuke said as he stood and began gathering the fallen branches around them. Minutes passed and he returned, throwing the wood down in the middle of the campsite. He placed rocks around the twigs and made a few hand signs, "Fire Style: Minor Flame Jutsu!" he said softly as a bit of fire escaped from his mouth and onto the wood, causing it to explode in flames, then it quickly died down to a small fire.

"Hey, hey, I got some riceballs and ramen," Sorayai said as she handed Sasuke some riceballs. "Since Sasuke only likes riceballs, well, that's all he'll eat. I brought enough for all of us though. I'm going to have ramen," she announced as she took out a pan and a jug of water from her pack. "What'll you have, Kenshi?"
