Re: Constitutional Right Not to be Offended?

There could be good reason, yes and I'm not saying that's all we have to do is run around and cuss and flame and stuff like that, but there's no reason to ban someone for passing around some harsh jokes or flaming out a noob. My opinions just as valuable, or invaluable, as the next persons. Doesn't matter what happens due to my words on the internet; it's all just words.

Men are men, women are men and thirteen year old girls are FBI agents. You can say whatever the hell you want on the net.

Oh, of course, you can say whatever the hell you want on the Net. You could always say whatever you wanted. It'll just get you banned in this corner of the Net.

And it's hard envisioning a fuctioning forum with NO flame rules whatsoever. The occasional prick will come by and harrass everyone, and that's just not something the boards and mods should have to deal with.

They should just be banned. Doesn't NEED to be a rule to ban someone. Remember, it's not a democracy. lol

So where in the goddamned constitution of America (where the majority of moderators are from/the owner of NL/NC) does it say you have the right NOT to be offended? If I want to offend someone, damn motherfucker, I'll offend you! Sure we got kiddies on here; that's either their parents responsibility to keep them from seeing 'mean words' or our individual moral beliefs to keep us from saying 'mean words' around them. Why the fuck can't I say fuck? Sure it's the rules of the forum and this is the internet which isn't governed by the U.S. Constitution. But the right to NOT be offended isn't in any constitution, as far as I know, nor is it in any sort of moral belief system. (Maybe the French...But then again, it's the French...)
Jeeze people, we come on the internet to have fun. Throwing some course jokes around every now and then isn't going to kill anyone....Damn.
finally someone else that agrees with me......

i back you 100%
