I need your opinion, important!

I wanted to know if I should put up a thread (How to play the guitar; Basics) in the music section. It'd be about what it says, ill teach the basics of playing guitar and so people can learn (I feel that not having a teacher is the best way to go. I wouldnt be a teacher, rather just showing you where you can start) So I wanted to know if this is something I should do, or would I be wasting my time.

i always wanted to play the guitar but nooooooo,dam parents wanted me to play the piano...they liked the song "Moonlight Sonata" -_-

guitar isnt something u can learn from a forum really, but i guess its a good idea. however there's free ebooks flooding all over the internet.
my count, however is to do it. every little helps man. even if ppl will quit after 1 week ^.-
