hmm good question, the thing is, the fat layer supporting 90 percent of there body is probably fire proof <.<

Hmm...I'm pretty sure fat can be burned. I learned that from anime, though.

Fat people have more surface area, and therefore float better. Not necessarily the gas in their stomachs, because anyone can have gas.
