Is Tobi Obito?

I think Tobi is Obito because he only has one Sharingan and all those pins in his arms!

Most evidence would lead to that. Tobi = Obito's body with Madara's soul in charge.

I'm more fond of the idea that Tobi is just off his rocker and he thinks he's Madara, but hey, it's a manga so anything can happen. And yes, a lot of evidence points to Tobi being Obito.

I wonder if Kishimoto-san is going to have a plot twist. I mean just because Tobi says he's Madara doesn't mean he is!

Tobi has but one Sharingan eye. Who else has one? Kakashi and Obito. Tobi is hiding something, why else would he act like a fool infront of others, yet be serious and sinister infront of Pain and Konan? Those two specifically. Jiraiya's expression when he asked Konan about Madara also said it all. It's like being slapped with a huge confirmation.

How could Madara be alive now though? I mean, I thought that Orochimaru was the only one to know the imortality jutsu!

That we know of, Oro is the only one who knows it. However, I think Madara's soul is active, not his body. I think his soul is in control of Obito's reconstructed body. Kakuzu was Akatsuki's medical ninja, and he placed Deidara's arms back, so it's not too hard to imagine that he could've fixed Obito's body somehow.

Kakashi has potential to find out that Tobi is Obito, however, it may not happen. I was hoping Tobi's true identity would come to light with Kakashi and Tobi going 1 on 1, not with 200 ninjas there watching. I'm pretty sure Pain and Konan know Tobi's real identity, though.

look at his hair, look at obito's and look at madara's (just see mikey's sig) there diferent tobi has short spiky and madara has almost long hair

Another good point! I agree! That would have been awesome, but there is still a chance because I remember he was at the valley! We haven't seen him since.

Technically speaking, Madara's body should be dead, since he was the founder of the Uchiha clan, and was from the generation of Shodaime, Konoha's founder and their first Hokage. So there's no way Madara's body is still up and active, but I believe his soul is.
