Re: College

Things in college are pretty different compared to high school. Well, it was for me. I was never pushed to do well academically while in college the way I was in high school. I didn't have much freedom either in high school. I had more responsibilities in college that I didn't even have to think about in high school. And finally, the women. Women, not girls, but women. It's more social and mature in college. Classes are scheduled pretty differently also.

I suppose. When I was in college also, there wasn't any sort of bullshit hierarchy thing going on either amongst new students and older ones. I was grateful about that.

i loled...there are SOME mature people, but there are still a LOT of immature people too..

there's positive and negative in both also....so make some mature friends and some immature ones too =D

true...there is really no one to push you to be successful or do yo work in college <.<...besides perhaps your parents and/or where/who ever u get the money to pay for college comes from....//thus i am so fucking lazy...spending my nights doing work the night and the day it's due....getting less and less sleep the night before it's due also x.x

Re: College

lol I know there are immature people also. This was just based on my experiences. That's one of the responsibilities that goes with college also, tuition payments. Some of you guys are young, so you all probably have parents that'd pay that, but some need to work and study at the same time to pay their tuition.

Exactly. Unlike in high school or lower, you (not really YOU, but the student) has to push themselves, otherwise, it's gonna bite them in the ass later on.

It was for me also! lol So many mornings I really didn't even want to go to class, I found myself really bored in class, to the point where I almost dropped out and took on a full time instead of part time job. =\

That's another thing (for the youngins), choose your courses wisely. Don't choose a career/course in something that relates to your talent and assume that's your dream job, just because you're naturally good at it. I did that with graphic design, and half way through the damn course, I was bored out of my skull because I wasn't learning anything that I didn't already know. Choose something you enjoy to do, even if it's not related to a specific talent you have. And for God's sake, don't choose a career/course that will pay well in the end, but will make you miserable and lifeless. >.>

indeed...i feel asleep in class before...but no one cares so nothing happened lol

oh and on another note, DO NOT....i repeat...DO NOT take a year off after HS to do whatever...go straight to college....cause most of the people i know who took a year offa school...did not go back to school after as they had planned...for many reasons....and some even had families after only a year and so they couldnt take up school because they had to provide for their family x.x

//college life experience is like no other <.<
