well masashi kishimoto-sama really did a great job in creating the naruto characters..there's a lot of shinobis to choose from regarding their unique traits. but i have to say, my top ninja,obviously in my username: hyuga neji. gaara would be the runner up.=p

hmm, I like Yondaime, Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, Kotetsu, Izumo, Temari, Sakura, Ten-Ten, Kiba, Akamaru, Young Kakashi, Rin, Obito, and a lot more.

orochimaru eh? but he isnt dead. i dont read the manga but even so i saw on wikipedia that sasuke betrays him and fights him so even if he's wasnt in the anime for so long im still pretty sure orochimaru isnt dead. where did you get that info anyway?

Hard to say. Kishimoto makes new characters so often, some more likable than others. I like Orochimaru's evil yet vulnerable personality. Villains with weaknesses or fears(like death) are so much more interesting than those engulfed in apathy. Tsunade is awesome. Rock Lee's determination and strength is inspiring. Kakashi is can be serious when needed, but a carefree pervert at other times( : 3). I found Kimimaro to be a very interesting and intriguing character. 'Tis a shame he died. Sakura, to me, is the most human. Her change from whimpy groupie to a strong mature lady is admirable. Guy Sensei is just marvelous. Kabuto himself is shrouded with mystery and keeps you guessing. So many good characters. Sarutobi is great as are Anko, Tobi, Zetsu, Ero-Sennin, Shikamaru and so many others. Kishimoto needs to stop making so many good characters. ^_^

hes new.. cut him some slack...i think orochimaru can lick my bunion.. sasuke WAS my favorite. then he turned all emo on us. so now i like Neji.
hes cool and strong and a genius who doesnt have to strive for his abilities. but then rocklee is very dedicated which makes him awsm. and hes wicked strong too. but neji is cuter and has cooler moves.. dare i say.. Neji wins.lol.
but thats in my books. you dont necessarily have to read it.
