. I do like the idea of a current generation list hmmm...

Current Generation
1. Sasuke (Don't really need to explain this one)
2. Neji (just bad ass & has broken every trap he's ever been in. Neji also carries a bag now & has a mid range attack using chakra)
3. Naruto (I'm placing him based on his abilities & not 4T)
4. Gaara (I agree he should still have some badassness left in him/I'm also hoping for a quicker well rested Gaara when he does come back. Remember Gaara almost never slept while he had his demon.)
5. Temari (badass shinobi hot as hell wind master who could also summon)
6. Shino (Long live bug boy. Very intelligent & has a weird yet very effective fighting style.)
7. Shika (due to a lack of chakra he's only placed at 7th.)
8. Sai (ummm yeah I don't like him... but yeah I guess he's powerful considering his bingo book & umm paintings...)
9. Lee (faster & stronger then most on this list. However he can't win allot of fights because he relies to heavily on Taijutsu)
10. Sakura (really powerful, knows medical jutsu, & is at least adept in genjutsu)

That list provided me with some entertainment, I hardly agree with it but yeah it was at least well arranged.

the list is ridiculous and the lister is mad, who can beat minato on that list when he can move faster than any of them doing a handseal lol and none of them had a flee on sight order hmmph,but anyway..

He may be right about Shodai though.
One thing always bugged me to no end - him defeating Madara. Oh, and one more - he was frigging able to control any Bijuu. That's beyond godlike.

Well, anyway, since this bugs me, I won't put him on my list at all, let him stay there with one big question mark.

1 - Pain. Don't laugh, Naruto will surpass Minato, and to surpass him he has to defeat an opponent who is stronger than Minato was. Also, he can resurrect his bodies, what the hell? So, I base this seat on Naruto's progress only.
The two who could shake that first position are Madara and Zetsu. If either of them are stronger than Pain is, then Pain drops by more than two seats, as I would place Minato above him easily.

2 - Hanzo

3 - Minato

4 - Madara

5 - Sarutobi

6 - Jiraiya

7 - Itachi

8 - Orochimaru

9 - Sasori

10 - Kakuzu/Deidara

And one guy who is beyond all these - Inari. I bet he is pwning S-class nins and Kages alike with his crossbow now.

My list..

1. Rikudo Created all ninjutsu. nuff said

2. Minato.. Mastered all 8 levels of Rasengan and didn't master the elemental.. Sealed away Kyuubi to put an end to Madara's kyuubi summoning. Saved the village, made a great shinobi to be feared of him. etc..

3. Madara Uchiha.. Summoned the king of bijuus, founded the Uchiha clan, first MS user, Perm. MS user and also founded Konoha...

4. Shodaime.. Created wood, controlled bijuu, Doton/water user, founder of the leaf village...

5. Jiraiya Flatten all people easily.. With one hit kill jutsus. WE KNOW Kishi that Jiraiya could of or would of OWNED Pain without PnJ. Yeah come on frog song genjutsu = Owned

6. Pain Leader of Akatsuki, Kinjutsu/Ninjutsu expert, controls the weather, killed J-man because of his little secret and mastered all six elements

7. Hanzou The Salamander king that owned the legendary three sannins when they were young, but probably get owned if they was at their current age now.. Hanzou would get owned by hermit mode since it was the jutsu Jiraiya was trying to master. Probably Naruto will master it.

8. Konan The only female in Akatsuki that fly and manipulate paper.. Origami jutsus, etc.. If she was trained by J-man and could see through J-man jutsus and hang around Pain without getting killed, then she must be strong.

9. Orochimaru Mr Snake who uses Kinjutsu/Ninjutsu/Genjutsu.. Oh yes this guy have got skills or whatever. The main villain in the series to surpass all the other villains using his devious ways..

10. Sarutobi the old man with skills.

Not that i care but rikudo didn't create ninjutsu he created modern ninjutsu like basic shit.

He didn't create death god,chidori,rasengan,rasenshurkien,edo tensei those jutsu were created by others he created basic shit.

Minato is number one period.

Yes. But he gave birth to ninjutsu, everyone else followed the rules of it and created their own shit. If he didn't gave birth to ninjutsu, then everyone else wouldn't know how to create their own shit.

we could also consider the fact that the next generation surpasses the old one. So it might be that he won't be best for ever. And since we don't have anyone to compare him with we can just assume that the future shinobis will be better. If someone defeats pain (naruto that is :P) then we could see a way to defeat rikudo. Since that would make the rin'negan defeated.

I really don't agree with the bolded statement. Without the CS, Sasuke's already extremely powerful, and possesses talent and genuisness to back it up. Take the Kyuubi any from Naruto and you'll have the majority of the description for which you misplaced with Sasuke. Just my .02... Stop the Sasuke hate!

Wtfux Kakuzu would owwwn Deidara IMO, I mean Kakuzu as just tooo badass. He had all the element affinities, and was able to fight against Shodai and live! They need to put Kakuzu at 9.5!

i would have to say uchiha madara is number 1 i mean the dude is deadly stronger just cause itachi said the first beat him doesnt mean its true i mean i have to hear madara say that for himself the only person that could get stronger then madara is tachi thats if he takes sasukes eyes

the thing is that everybody said so, not just Itachi. Even Kakashi said it, and Jiraya. And I'm sure shodaime wouldn't just lie about it that he won the fight coz there was all the village to witness that he came victorious.
