The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
Yes we all know Orochimaru was defeated by Sasuke. But the thing that bugs me about this is Kabuto implanting Orochimaru's corpse into his own.. What if Kabuto uses Orochimaru's hand from his original body that Itachi sliced off and regain all of Orochimaru's jutsus like Edo Tensei, etc..
There are ways of cheating the death god.. Like Jiraiya mentioned about the other half of kyuubi that was sealed. Even though Orochimaru cannot use ninjutsu, except for that sword thing or summonings he can only do which had kept him in place after the Sarutobi's death. There will be Kabuto that will become Orochimaru and can use both medical and ninjutsu. Since he was the main villain introduced beginning of the series, there was others powerful than him. But we all know that in every series the main villain has to be the most powerful out of everyone and is the most feared out of every other villain there is.. With medical ninjutsu in Orochimaru's hands he can create many things with it to make himself powerful. What do you guys think about this theory? and.. feel free to discuss. ![]()

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
I would love to see the return of orochimaru. I think it was unfair the way he died because he was basically crippled by the 3rd hokage. I wanted a better end to him but he got sharinganed (lol is that a word?). But yea, i think we all belive it is very possible to see the return of orochimaru through either kabuto or even sasuke because he resides in both of them. Kabuto/orochimaru or sasuke/orochimaru would be a deadly combination.

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
The flaw I see in Kabuto becoming Orochimaru is that Sasuke has his soul. So even if Kabuto does transform & looks like Orochimaru it still wouldn't be the real Oro. Just a mutated Kabuto calling himself Oro.

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
Well, Kabuto can transform (?) into Oro since he did implant his DNA in him.You know something like a DNA mutation. I know its a stretch, but Kabuto is Oro's right hand man, I'm pretty sure Oro had sometrump card in case he were to dye somehow, or Kabuto learned something along with his studies with Oro.

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
Well, like Vengeance pointed out, Orochimaru's soul resides within Sasuke somewhere. When Sasuke assimilated Oro's soul, he also inherited the power of the White Snake. So far, only an accelerated healing has been shown to be a result of the merger. Its debatable, but so far unprovable if Sasuke inherited anything else.
However, dont discredit what Kabuto can do with Orochimaru's DNA within himself. Remember that Yamato was implanted with the 1st's DNA and he got Mokuton. Kabuto has said before that he has experimented with his own DNA extensively and also that Orochimaru's "body" was actually taking over his own. So even if he becomes a Orochimaru clone biologically, it still lacks the soul to be complete.

I could see Kabuto becoming at the very least a snake summoner from this as he'd have Orochimaru's blood in him. Not to mention the chakra boost & regenerative abilities he mite also gain. Combine that with Kabuto's known abilities & his unknown(repeated experiments on his body & potential Kinjutsu he mite know). Kabuto could very well be a decent villain if Kishi decides to use him effectively. Also Kabuto has bodies on stand by vai summoning scrolls. It's possible that Kabuto may also use Edo in the future. This is however if Kishi even wants to go in that direction. Kabuto could also turn into nothing more then a filler fight, or a deformed sickly messenger(I hope not).

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
He's coming back albeit in the form of Kabuto
Kabuto's character arc has gone from supposed rubbish genin to Kakashi-level power to soon possibly being one of the strongest shinobi enemies that Sasuke and Naruto will have to fight... Either that or the reaction of Orochimaru's cells in his body will turn him into a pathetic freak.. which would be laughable

You gotta be kidding me craigkage, I was logging on today to make a thread like this! You beat me to it
![]() I really think Orochimaru should come back. His character is awesome, and his voice in the anime is priceless, he is the perfect villain! Wish I had that same voice myself... Orochimaru was so evil it was wonderful, Kishi bring him baaaack! ![]() I don't really like Kabuchimaru, would rather see him take over Kabuto's body and regain his soul somehow. Guess the chances of this happening are pretty slim as there's so much other stuff going on.

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
Hey if you lose a soul, clone yourself and gain a new one. Do you think Oro's cells might even go far as getting Oro soul back into this world through Kabuto? It's pretty likely to me. Oh yeah, Oro is more crafty then people tend to give him. He is the closest thing to immortal next to Hidan. I think he might actually give Pain a harder time, especially since his ninjutsu is tops among all the nin and his knowledge of them makes him very adaptable to a given situation... but this is not the VS thread, so I'll leave this one on this, Oro will make a return through Kabuto, he is weak compared to Oro and we are going to have him back. Like I said, Oro made sure (speculation) that in the event that his soul gets trapped in someone else, that he had a backup plan to use Kabuto. I'm mean seriously, he is a genius (don't discredit him of that) and if never though of all the possible ways his body hoppin jutsu failed, then he failed as a nin (a sannin no less) developing an incomplete jutsu

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
His head lived on without a body, I think Hidan is as immortal as you get. We don't know if he can withstand time, but I guess so as that would make it even more painful to stay in that hole. Not sure if he could live without his brain though, that would be kinda odd.
Only Orochimaru's soul is immortal, destroy his body and he is gone. Nobody managed to destroy his body yet.

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
I'm only speculating of course but my guess would be that Hidan was granted immortality once he was ordained as priest or whatever in that religion of his, and not born immortal.
The reason I'm saying Orochimaru's soul is immortal is because it was mentioned in the manga when he was developing the body switching jutsu in the first place. If his soul isn't immortal, then what part of him is then? His bodies certainly are not.

Re: The return of Orochimaru? (Theory)
I certainly hope Orochimaru comes back some way. I mean, it's been said in the manga by Kabuto himself. So first hint is that he comes through Kabuto. Be it more of kabuto controlling Oro, or more of Oro controling Kabuto. Either way, it's enough evil.
But I'm also wondering if Sasuke after killing Itachi.... or having some contact with madara later, and he undergoes some psychological breakdown, and thus Oro might sense the weakness and burst out. Either way, I kinda connect Oro's return with Root. I think they might be combined in the same arc. Somehow plotting together. But only if Oro still has same plans to destroy Konoha like he wanted in Part one. And for some reason I can't see Oro the main villain in the end. Even if he combines either with kabuto's skills or with Sasuke's skills. HE was just a member or Akatsuki, and under the level of several of the other members (including Pain and Madara), So I find it weird that he could become the final villain.
