Well, going simply by which would be the most convenient with the current manga developments/situations... NaruSaku or NaruHina. Because they're all together at the moment. xP Followed by SasuSaku, though Sasuke is currently still battling Itachi and if he survives (which he will), heading towards Madara.

I didn't say ShikaTem because neither have received any focus recently and it looks like the current plotlines will remain on Team 07, and those who surround them, which is Team 08, Hebi, and Akatsuki (Madara, Kisame, Zetsu, and Itachi).

But I honestly don’t think pairings will receive a significant amount of attention/development for some time, as there are far more pressing plot lines to tell, and if anything, we'll get romance that is accommodated to work for the plot lines. And considering that in the recent interview, Kishi stated that Naruto had to 'wait', I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being true for his love life as well. =/

Since, in all honesty, Naruto is stuck on Sasuke. And so is Sakura. Something will have to change/get resolved in that department before romance peeks back into the game. That's what I think anyway, though we may receive small developments here and there... for any of the pairings. *shrugs*

I also think that Sakura's feelings for Sasuke will have to come back into the forelight in some way, either to reaffirm them or to show that they have changed. Since she will be receiving focus this year along with Sasuke (though it is not clear yet if their development will be interconnected, but I think its a likely possibility), this may be resolved.

And yes, I do think that Hinata's long-standing affection and admiration for Naruto will receive attention. Hinata's feelings for Naruto were retained and quite obviously reaffirmed in Part II, while both Lee and Ino seemed to have dropped their former crushes on Sakura and Sasuke (nothing's been mentioned, basically, though the anime included Lee's affections in Part II).

By using Hinata's one short appearance to do this, it tells me that Kishimoto intends to use those feelings for some purpose. And since Team 08 fell into place as the Team 07's allies in this mission, a mission that is of the upmost importance to Naruto (and even gives Shino an opportunity to shine and make up for missing out on the first rescue mission xD), I would like to think it has more reason than just fan service... I hope they don't get pushed to the side in the way that Team Gai, Ino, and Chouji all have. =/

I don't agree with that entirely.. though yeah, Lee expressed a strong interest in Sakura the moment he met her. This is because of his personality and how much spirit he puts forth in all areas of his life. The fires of youth burn unfailing!!!111!

Well....I do like this one called Two Halves, but if you're not a NaruHina fan, you won't like it. There was supposed to be another part to it, but the author dropped it...it's a good fan fic though

I dont believe that, I think you can like a fanfic even if it's not about your favorite pairing.

On another note with the fics, I just read HighSpeed0516's fan fic "Kissing the Wind." It's NaruSaku, but it has some NaruHina in it too and it's like on point with whats happening now on the manga. So far there are 4 chapters, so I hope you guys check it out to support our friend, even if it may not be your favorite pairing. I think so far it's an excellent fanfic and that it's really thought out.

But seriously, if you just want to read the Naruhina part, just read Chapter 2.

(well, you sort of get Naruhina lip service in chapter 1 as well, but if you don't like NaruSaku, chapter 1 might not be for you. But I do make it plausible, and don't just have then suddenly decide to share feelings or something like that. I use the context of Kishi's story and what I believe to be his intent.


Expect a few small annoying type-o's and grammer errors though, because the whole thing will get one more re-write when its done.

P.S. - Those music videos were pretty cool.

Yeah, I noticed a few errors but its all good. The story holds up great ^_^

Another story that is probably one of my favorites of all time is "Garden of Sanctuary" by nes mikel.

This is a NaruSaku fic as well, but i wouldn't care if it was NaruHina, SasuSaku, or whatever. This is probably one of the most bitter sweet fics i've ever read. Its also a oneshot, so check it out.
