Cant compare em. Kirin is Raw Lightning which is much more potent then manmade Jutsu lightning. RS is manmade Wind, while it would snuff out jutsu lightning, there is no way to tell, if it would be strong enough to have an affect against real Lightning.

Ugh, didn't we go through this with Rasengan and Chidori?

RS is more powerful. That I know of, it has no weaknesses other than messing up Naruto's arm.

Kirin is powerful also, but it does have two weaknesses. One, someone with a lightning affinity can put Kirin away. Kakashi's Raikiri cut lightning in half, and we saw him cancel out Kakuzu's raiton. Or, simply get close to Sasuke and knock him off his ass. Kirin is long range.

still if you involved elements advantage, wouldn't it mean that an insanely powerful katon could put rasenshuriken down? if the katon power is stronger than the wind power Naruto put in his rasenshuriken at that time.

and could a powerful wind technique put off kirin?

See but if the fire cancelled wind, there is still a perfectly good rasengan to attack with there isn't it? (idk, just throwing out theories)

Whereas the kirin is straight lightening and could be cancelled by a wind attack

As i said in the other discussion, i think Rasenshuriken is more powerful and has potential to be even more devastating when it's completed 100%

Prep RS. It has MUCH less time to prepare.
Killing ability Tie. They're both capable of one hit killing.
Destructive power RS, easily. It's a crater maker, and it's only at 50%.
Potential RS. It's only at 50%. Kirin is Sasuke's 'that'.

RS > Kirin in most cases.

It could be since it's been shown that high raw chakra (rasengan) can have advantage over elements, since the rasengan is stronger than chidori. So if wind will barely stop fire, the raw chakra in the rasenshuriken could do the rest.

yah, but a very powerful wind attack. S class one, since kirin looks s class rank, or higher.

I really agree here. I wonder if the completed rasenshuriken will look different from now, or it would look the same but just be a projectile.

if everything was in place alredy id say kirin but liek what was said above kirin needs prep but rs is pretty prep less and naruto can suround u with them with a good number of clones using them. so id say rs would own.

I think that Kirin is more powerful now, but RS will be more powerful later... Simply put, Kishi created the element thing and wind > lightning, so there's no question that RS could possibly stop it if RS was pumped up enough.

This is also a good point since there will probably be many, many Narutos running around with RS. Scary thought really... 1000 RS hitting somebody at once would be painful >_>

multi rs or hiting some one in the face with it ensted of the damn stomach i wana see rs used for real liek it should be hit some one for real or throw a shit load of clones using it. if hes so damn smart when it comes to clones now thats what i would do ur bound to hit him with one for crien out loud.

Right now, i say that Kirin has the upper hand. Yeah, it takes time to perform it, but once it is formed, like Zetsu said, impossible to dodge because of its speed(perfect jutsu for Sasuke to tell the truth). Power wise, they are probably about the same or so. If Sauke and Naruto were to go up againist each other and try and use these two techniques from the start, the speed would win. But, Rasenshuriken is obviously going to get stronger, so power wise, It is going to be stronger.

Actually mikey rasenshrukien killed 3 times at once or should i say twice and left the third heart to fail due to all the cells being severed so i will say rs takes in the killing department too.

By the time sasuke prepares for it he can be killed already wind>lighting so i am sure rs can cancel that shit out even at 50% if it made a crater the szie bigger then what untied 93 made in a crash lol.
