naruto's dress got symbol just like his father dress got

can it be namikaze clan symbol?

no, I remember his symbol is simply the translation of the word uzumaki.

doesn't it translate into spiral? coz I kinda forgot.

Could you show the picture of Minato with that symbol? (i couldn't find it during Kakashi Gaiden)

Yes liu, i thought it was Kushina's clan symbol for uzumaki=spiral (as per Wikipedia)

I don't think naruto considers it as having any importance. I think he wears it just coz it translates into his name, not that he's conscious of it belonging to some family. I think he simply invented it to wear it on the clothes. (kishi said in an interview it doesn't symbolize anything but he'll think of something as time passes)

and I don't remember yondaime having that symbol on his clothes.

I always wondered about the spiral and someone on naruto fan had a good explaination for it and that it goes in opposite direction to the spiral on the jounin and chunnin uniforms

oh I remember that, I read it just recently, but the thing is, Kishi originally didn't intend that reversed spiral to mean anything, he probably invented and explanation ever since, but it might not have to be the fact that it is reversed from the jounin/chuunin uniform.

I'm hoping kishi actually has now a explanation for it, coz it would be interesting to find out.

edit: Actually I don't see it reversed. I just looked at the manga now.
