I would definitely love to see Gaara in the fillers, but i don't really see it happening. With the filler characters coming into the story, I can see it would be difficult to get the Sand Shinobi into the story as well. ><;

His affinity is wind, he uses it to control the sand. Thats another reason their were unconsiously 'drawn' together, Naruto's is wind as well. It would be cool since he's lost Shukaku, if he learned the 'Iron Sand' technique that Sasori had. I think eventually he will have to help out Naruto, he' just learning about his affinity, and Asuma told him enough to create one jutsu, but he will need to know more against the Uber Villans, and Gaara's the one to whip him into shape.
