Itachi He can take out most of them, but I see him running out of steam/having trouble with Sasori or Deidara.

Kisame I don't see him doing much except disabling Hidan easily, dealing with Konan....

Sasori He'd make things difficult. Not everyone is capable of dodging 20 million sharp objects that have been poisoned.

Hidan He's quickly dealt with by just about anyone.

Kakuzu I can see him giving Orochimaru or Itachi trouble.

Zetsu I don't know enough of him to comment, so I'll just say he dies by default.

Konan She can be dealt with easily by Itachi or Kisame, or anyone in the group who can katon or suiton.

Orochimaru I can only see Itachi dealing with him.

Just a few things here....

Itachi - Is he at 100%?
Kisame - Is he at 100%?
Sasori - Is he not emo?
Hidan - Is he....smart?
Kakuzu - Is he at 100%, and not dumbed down in order to make someone else look good?
Zetsu - Why is he even in this fight?
Konan - Ditto.
Orochimaru - Is he at 100%, and does he have the ability to use Edo Tensei and Manda?
Deidara - Is he not in a hissy fit mood?

This fight could go so many ways, and I see nothing but chaos unsuing. Itachi can flood the area with Amat, Kisame can flood the area with suiton, Sasori can flood the area with puppets, Hidan can flood the area with stupid, Kakuzu can flood the area with tentacles, Zetsu can flood the area with ALOE MAN, Konan can flood the area with sharp papers, Orochimaru can flood the area with snakes, Deidara can flood the area with bombs. Soooo much chaos.

I say Itachi wins, but barely. I can already imagine Orochimaru trying to take him down early, and Deidara trying to take Itachi and Orochimaru down at once.

Hmmmm... I'd say Sasori. I don't know if it's possible but he may be resistent against Itachi's Sharingan since he's a puppet. Moreover he doesn't have to fight everyone at once since it must be something like a giant punch-fest. If he's lucky some of his enemies will kill each other before he has to do it. And if he stays careful he should be able to protect his biological core from the attacks of the others.

Meh, Itachi is clearly strongest out of these, but still, if Deidara makes it to the sky, I still think he is the last man standing. Or flying.

He's half puppet, half human. He can still be affected. Also, genjutsu isn't the only thing Sharingan can do, especially Itachi's Sharingan.

A punch fest? This isn't a boxing ring. They're not all gonna gather up in a cloud of dust and rumble, leaving Sasori to the side, as if he were Hidan. Sasori would be in danger of double teams, since they must know what he's capable of.

I think it's a given that Deidara would make it to the sky. Even if he's bum rushed, he's still pretty quick on his feet, judging on how he dodged Sasuke's shunshin, and avoided Team Gai's attacks. He'd definitely make it to the sky. Problem is, he's not safe there either. Itachi has Amat and Susa to reach him, Kisame's suiton should be able to reach him if he's at 100%, Sasori's puppets should also be able to fly up there, Hidan.....well, anyway, Kakuzu has some nice long range attacks also, Konan should actually prove to be Deidara's worst nightmare, since she can dispurse herself into sharp paper if she's blow up by his bombs, and she's airborne, and Orochimaru also has long range attacks. Including Manda, assuming he's allowed to use Manda in this fight.

Wow. I just realized Konan is a walking counter to Deidara. o_O

well i think deidara will not be able 2 fly when he is against itachi he will be dead b4 he thinks 2 fly ..... and its true itachi is the strongest in akatsuki but i see sasori is the real problem against him coz i think the sharingan does not effect on pupets and the only way 2 defeat him is susano

Why would he not be able to fly when against Itachi? He does have an anti-Sharingan eye. So it's not like a regular genjutsu will work on him just like that.

Sorry, I don't get this. He's half puppet, and half human. That doesn't make him totally immune to genjutsu, especially Itachi level genjutsu. Also, Amat will burn Sasori alive, along with his puppets. If Itachi doesn't take care of the puppets while burning Sasori, the other Akatsuki members will. Besides, Sasori only resorts to that near the end of his line, so body hopping with one of his puppets would only save him temporarily.

I think itachi would win,but hidan would be hard to get rid of. Kisame is strong but he doesn't think out things like itachi.

Hidan would be easy to get rid of. But I'm wondering if all of them know that Hidan is immortal. *shrug* Because, if they don't, they'd hit him with some powerful stuff, and waste their chakra and stamina.

I wonder if Amat would burn Hidan to ashes. Would Hidan still be alive?

Deidara might win and lose.
Why?
He can take out almost anyone with his C3 or C4, but still, if someone somehow survives Deidara's powerful attack, the barrier jutsu or whatever they use should take a lot of chakra(maybe not) and when they are weakened and Dei is about to lose, we will just blow himself up and kill everyone in 10km radius

I was thinking the immortal thing too. I was like, Hidan will just take it like a man, until I saw how Shiki just quickly sliced his body up. He might be immortal, but his body can still take sword on the neck. And since Kakuzu isn't there to help, but kill like the rest, one and done, but it would still apply to all the AK members. So would that make Hidan better since (speculation moment) has control of his limbs even though they're detached? Although this wouldn't matter, his killing technique takes way too long. Someone will blind side him.

I do like that Ama idea too. Itachi using that move backed in a corner should kill them all in a matter of seconds. I wish I could take my vote back and choose Itachi.
You forget, Deidara has a Sharingan defense accounted for on par with Itachi. I'm not saying he'll be able to 100% resist MS, but he should have theoretically have an easier time to defend since he was with Deidara as members til he died. Sasuke had to predict it's power in a 2 1/2 year span. Deidara could more accurately find a way to defend against it. Also, couldn't Konan use her origami to fly with Deidara?

Why not? The situation is that they fight each other for no reason. And why should they build teams then? And I'm not sure about the effectivness of Sharingan on Sasori. I think genjutsu will not harm him but we will never know since Sasori is dead..

I didn't say anything about forming teams, but I simply can't imagine all of them just bundled up in one small circle punching each other, as was implied in the earlier post. They have jutsus and techniques to use also. Not just swinging punches.
