I didn't mean it this literally. But something similiar to a punch fest. I mean they won't wait for their turn to attack (it's not a chess game). And thus there will be a lot of action that nobody can overview fully. This is how I imagine it.

Are they all doped up on drugs or something? Yes, there'd be action, but I don't picture them all just blindly using punches and jutsu. They have to fight strategically.

If the number of fighters decreases the battle won't be as confusing as it was at the beginning. And so it won't end fast. Imagine just three of them left. Of course it will take longer to finish off two opponents because they will be more focused on the two who are left and therefore not easy to surprise.

Of course they have to fight strategically. I didn't say they would attack blindly but they won't be able to overview everything.
