It's true, though.

Kisame's lost his superior partner, and we know of at least two people who have reason to take him out. He's no longer important to the plot. He also got a jinchuuriki, so his role is pretty much done with. He's expendable, just like Itachi was when Madara was brought into the picture.

But see, the thing is that Suigetsu wants his sword. His goal isn't to kill Kisame, but then again, Kisame isn't complete without his Samehada. :\

*sigh* Well i guess we lost itachi so i guess its only right his partner goes down also.. then that leaves only Zetsu , madara , pein and Konan.. i believe thats all...

seriously some good guys better start dying.. this is annoying

I too have been hanging out for a little story resolution, i.e. Ero-Sannin. However, I'm also wondering about the seven swordsmen, maybe a little info will be shared during the Kisame battle. And Kisame can't die, Aka has a serious numbers problem. Without Kisames chakra pool they can say goodbye to removing anymore Bijuu.

i know... this freaking sucks.. he makes them all so damn cool looking and then kills them all like they are nothing.. to many good guys are still alive.. kill them damn it

Talking about Suigetsu, what happened with Hebi? I got from the spoilers that Sasuke is taken away by Tobi, but what about Hebi?!

Pain said Kisame has the largest chakra pool in Akatsuki, he never said they'd absolutely need him to seal up bijuu.

The only reason I can think of to keep Kisame alive is a) Gai needs a rematch, b) Suigetsu wants Samehada, c) Kishi actually plans on going deeper into the Swordsmen story. I hate to sound negative, but I really doubt Kishi gives a damn about option C.

^ I really like Juugo. And Suigetsu is interesting as well...as long as he leaves Kisame alone that is. I hate when kids are arrogant.
