Seriously, plot is our main enemy. I'm sure the storylines and plots would have been fine without making it so the 15 year olds didn't take out Akatsuki on their own.

Shikamaru taking out Hidan = plot
Naruto taking out Kakuzu = plot
Naruto taking out Itachi's clone = plot
Naruto damn near taking out Orochimaru = plot
Sakura taking out Sasori = plot
Sasuke taking out Deidara = plot
Sasuke taking out Itachi = plot
Sasuke taking out Orochimaru = plot
Itachi taking out Oroch..oh wait, that wasn't plot. Itachi is just BETTER.
Pain taking out Jiraiya = plot

U gotta respect Shikamaru's pre battle strategy as well as his exceptional genius for his defeat. U gotta respect Naruto's trick up his sleeve with a brand new jutsu from behind. Sasori allowed himself to be killed by his grandmother and "parents". He poisoned Sakura and his grandmother. He respected their fight and honor. He showed his respect and inner kindness by telling Sakura how to find Sasuke. Deidara resorted to blowing "himself" up by he already caught Gaara. Outfought Kakashi after losing an arm. He got the shit punched out of him by Naruto and still got away, outsmarted Team Gai and Team Kakashi and would have killed them if not for Kakashi's MS. Deidara just wanted to kill Itachi's brother since he was no match for Itachi wo he risked it all but he hurt Sasuke bad enought that Sasuke didnt make it in enough time that he didnt need to take a nap as soon as possible.
Itachi was the only fluke. That fight's outcome was B.S. Everyone else in Akatsuki lost fair and square to exceptional 15 year olds, but the main thing that caused their demise was the fact that they saw them as some 15 year old talented shinobi. Not even a match for them. Akatsuki underestimated them all. They lost the second they did that. These were not your ordinary, talented 15 yr olds. They were exceptionally talented 15 yr olds with a goal/vengeange/something to prove.

Agreed, J-Man, if he hadn't got his windpipe crushed, or however his voice got cut, he would have mentioned the secret. Pain had to use 6 to kill him. Pain is nothing but plot. You don't think Shiki is smart enough to take out Hidan? I say Shiki got the win out of his own merits and skills. He devised the entire plan for goodness sake.

Yes but he needed time to prepere if he fought hidan straight on he would die easily. So there was a bit of plot there but not that much.

Oh, I never questioned his intellect and strategies. I just think it's BS when he can't handle Hidan one day, then the next, he's able to physical move, with his shadow jutsu, a transformed Hidan as if he were nothing.

Kakuzu was dumbed down. He was faster than Kakashi, and had a wealth of experience on his side. He should have easily been able to avoid Naruto. Plot.

Riiight. Still, it's all plot.

So, why exactly are you telling me what I already knew? None of that changes the fact that his death was part of the plot.

Sasori, okay, I will not get into it. I like the battle and his death.

Deidara...why did he hate the Sharigan again? Because Itachi defeated him? Bullshit, crappy reason to kill yourself. Especially when you run away with no hands.

Hidan - too stupid, okay, but there are thousands of factors which indicate Shika should be dead. I am too tired to type it since I have done it a million times.

Kakuzu - Got stupified. Crap, crap, crap. He could have even retreated to Hidan.

And for the record, I don't consider Pain defeating Jiraiya being fair and square. That was about as much of plot as anything else. Jiraiya was there to make Pain look good to us, and show us some of what Pain can do.
