It's not surprising that the Catholic Church is against the whole stem-cell research thing. More than all the Christians at my church are also against this whole stem-cell thing too. =/
Seems that the stem-cell research is advancing as the years go by...
But why a cow-man?

Actually, this is a much more controversial topic than you might think. This is growing and harvesting humans to support currently alive humans. Doesn't that sound a little morbid to you? I personally don't believe that life begins at conception but it is still potential life being snuffed out not because it is a personal choice. It all seems a little cold for me.

I don't think I can support stem cell research in this fashion. If the government were to allow aborted fetuses for the same research then I guess I could outright condemn this hybrid harvesting process.

Meh, I say if it is to help people out then why not, you know? I can live with it seeming a little morbid (I don't really see it that way though, it doesn't seem so bad to me. *shrugs*) if that's what it takes.
