That would be too perfect a world for us and i don't think the animators or Kishi want us to wind up having a bleach thing going on...where you start having chapters in the manga talking about the past just to set the tone for the next big battle meanwhile the anime is within 40 or 50 chapters of the manga.

Well, I don't have a problem with fillers as long as they meet some or all of these requirements to make it exciting and interesting:

1. New fights will have to be introduced that are interesting.
2. A few hilarious episodes will be a good addition.
3. Valuable information should be added somewhere in the fillers for future events.
4. Various character development/air-time should be a must.

If they meet some of those requirements, then that'll be cool. If they meet all of them, then that'll be great.

See now if all anime's did their fillers that way....then people wouldn't mind them so much as they seem to actually add some sort development to characters and/or teams we don't see much of in the manga as well they would be ALMOST as enjoyable as the movies tend to be.

Well, I remember in Part I we have a few filler periods, mixed in with the canon material, and they were pretty good. I hope its the same this time around. And I did like the filler characters designs. So... I want to give it a chance.

I never watched all the fillers from before, though I downloaded all of them. A couple were good, some were eh, others were flat out retarded. And there was not enough Kakashi. <___<;

If it's under 7 episodes, I can live with it. Anything less, it's ridiculous.

i think the filler would sucks... why the bad guys doesn't look like they're shinobi... also they look like came form the naruto movie...

Fillers always suck. They're half-assed storylines the producers make-up to waste our time while they wait for the manga to get a little farther ahead so they can start up with the real storyline again. Don't tell me you guys really expect people to put effort into fillers that don't even matter in the long run.

Finally some fillers! Maybe this way they'll be able to pick up the pace again. Cuz the latest episodes have been as slow as a fudging slug.

Starting with fillers is worse than dragging out the plot content, but I have no problem with it at all, since we could see some fighting scenes of not that important Konoha Ninjas too

I don't know which is worse, watching a 5 minute scene where the only thing you have seen moving, are 3 animated birds flying over konoha or watching a filler with mostly lame comedy and action overload. I'm putting my money on the latter for now, hoping they won't drag the episodes that long anymore because of them.
