Basically if what Virgin Media wants to do happens and then spreads to other isp you can say bye bye to fan subs, or at least it would be at an extremely low speed.

Spread the word, etc. Also if your in the Uk and paying the Isp you can let them know how you fill. If you of age, you can make sure any type of legations in what ever country you may be in supports Net neutrality.

It will if the Isps adopted same method here. Plus Net Neutrality hasn't passed the senate here. Obama does support neutrality. If you can always advertise even if you can;t vote yet.

Basically it is a bill that would keep the internet free for the user. The way it is now you don't have to pay to access certain sites etc, you just pay to connect to the net. The people running the server pay for a certain amount of bandwidth. It get kinda turned around if virigin media does what they say. You pay to connect and only the websites they choose will load or load at high speeds. This will then allow then to stifle or block websites that haven't paid high $ so they can have high bandwidth. You pay more to access more of the web or less to access just what they want you too.

You actually had it right, more or less. In this case Virgin Media would be like a television station, and websites would be like the TV programs. They'd choose certain ones to air, and make it next to impossible for people to view ones that aren't in their favor for whatever reason.

Net Neutrality just wants to keep the internet pretty much the way it is now, where shit like that shouldn't happen, and we can view whatever websites we feel like viewing without people trying to regulate shit on us.
