Only two episodes are out with subs right now. The manga has 40 chapters currently, but only 24 of them are scanlated.

Well, I don't know what days, but the episodes come out weekly. The second episode was just recently released as a sub...yesterday, I think. The subs are by AEN and Rumbel, but I haven't had prior experience with either of those subber groups, so I don't know how regular their releases are.

The anime you can get from Tokyotosho. Just search for Soul Eater, it'll have the torrents up for it. Or if you don't want to download them, you can find the episodes on Veoh.

As for the manga, I got it from MangaTraders.

Just watched it...it was pretty good.

It had some similarities of Bleach, mainly the Shinigami, who are fighting the Kishin that eat souls, pretty similar to Hollows...the other being the attractive girl who can turn into a cat and also doesnt mind being naked in front of people...just like Yourichi.

The anime is really good. Finished watching the eps. today and it's good and has humor in it. Makes my list of top animes. I don't read the manga so I can't compair, even so, it is still good.

Its not exactly the same. Essentially The technicians weapon eats the souls of good people to become a kishin. Their is actually only one Shinigami plus his son.

Onemanga has it too. The manga kicks ass and I love the show too. Al though black stars voice is insanely annoying. Maka and soul kick more ass anyways.
