But anywayz this has allways been the problem with power. Everyone who has it will become blinded by it. Doessnt matter if your name is Saddam, Bush or Umpaloempa.

i would agree to most of you... i mean, when you gain power, you forget that you were once just like everyone else.. and when you lose it, then you'll start thinking again about what a dumbass you've been..

Power has the ability to corrupt those even with the best and purest intentions. That's the way it has been for some time now, and that is the way it will always be. To have power does feel good, yes, but when it is taken away, all we have left is the memories of what we did with that power, and it can get disheartening.

That doesn't mean they STAY corrupt. Take the Catholic Church. It has gone through a few ages of corruption but has always bounced back clean again. Take Great Britain as an example. Everyone goes through periods of corruption and blah, blah, blah. What's the debate here?
