Civil War in Konoha?

I was thinking about something. Now that Danzou and the elders have been outed and Sarutobi cleared, what does that mean is going to happen within the Village? That being said, where does Sai's loyalties lie? Also, does Root have the manpower to pull off a coup d'etat? Novice seeking information here. Any helpers on this?

AK versus Konoha. Lead by Madara and Sasuke vs. Tsunade and Naruto. This is the most plausible outcome.

By the way, Tsunade has no choice but to be involved with the civil war because she carries the Senju clan in her blood. She made it no secret that she was the granddaughter of the 1st, so Madara is going to carry out his vengeance through her

They haven't been outted. The only ones who know of what went down are Danzo, the Advisors, Madara, Itachi, Sarutobi, and now Sasuke.

Nothing for now. But this could potentially spell the deaths of the advisors and Danzo, at Sasuke's hands. If Sasuke is stupid enough, this could also mean he'll join Madara in his revenge against Konoha.

Technically, his loyalties lie with Konoha.

In terms of cliques, Sai is technically loyal to ROOT. However, Naruto has changed Sai, so I think it's safe to question his loyalties now.

I don't think so. I can't imagine ROOT being larger than ANBU, and even if they are, Konoha still have great shinobi to fight for them.

I guess what I meant by outted was that there has been some sort of link provided between the two. I know that only a few knew what happened and two of them are dead, but really... Do you really expect this to be kept a secret for too much longer?

I could just picture him shouting it out as he and Madara attact Konoha

Sasuke says, "You sanctioned the killing of my clan!!!"

Madara, "Calm down, Sasuke!"

But do you believe that at some point a Civil War will happen within Konoha? If not, do you believe that this current arc will squash that with Sasuke's revenge?
