MGS4 RELEASE: The Thread - Page 4

Do they count it as an alert phase if a guy sees you and goes !, but immediately after you CQC him or tranq him, so he can't tell his buddies and the alert phase is canceled?

If "Alert" shows up on the screen for any amount of time, no matter how brief, it counts on your record.

But if the ! shows up before the alert sign even appears on the screen and the guy is taken down before things progress, then its safe. But yeah if the alert is there, even for half a second, it counts... Caution and Evasion don't count as alert either...

Shit, this game is beyond fucking epic. I cringed every time I had to skip a cutscene so I'd have enough time to keep playing. I want a PS3 to play this game, dammit, but no, Sony had to make it all expensive-like. Also, my badass moment of the game was shooting down two helicopters and two APCs with my trusty RPG. Only thing that kind of bugged me about the game was Snake's voice. I know they didn't want to get a whole 'nother guy to play him, but he probably could've done a better job sounding older. Laughing Octopus is <3.

Beat it last night. Best. Game. Ever. Definitely giving it another play through. Vamp vs. Raiden was bad ass, although I felt a little let down at how much of a pussy they made him in the boss battle in act 4.

I'll most likely start playing MGO after I finish my second run of the game, so look out for me there in a few days.
