During one of Gaara's flashbacks, I think it was Yashamaru who mentioned it. Karura, I'm pretty sure.

I found the Kankuro pic I was looking for, by the way, and now I'm poking around the Sakura and Chiyo v Sasori fight for one of Sasori. Banners would be so much easier if you didn't have to actually find images first!

Edit: Banners for the Sand Sibs done. I'll do a Sasori one later, probably in a different style. I don't like Kankuro's... why is it that your favorite character is the one you can never draw/write/edit well?

You're probably right. I remember that Yashamaru said something along the line that he was going to avenge his sister's death or something when he was talking to Gaara, but I didn't know if he actually said the name.

I kinda agree with you on the Kankuro banner, it didn't turn out as well compared to the other two.

Meh, I think it's just an ironic twist that causes it. The fact that you like the character so much might mean you find flaws in works with them in it compared to other characters. I do the same thing when I draw. I notice errors that I should fix when I start looking at it.

Thanks for Image N for banners. Keisok if you havent noticed I moved to owner. Im gald we are keeping active. Also I do believe Gaaras mother name was said. I forget though

No problem. By the way, you seem to have accidentally linked to the Kankuro banner twice in your first post, but not the Gaara one. And the fourth link is dead.

So, who's everyone's favorite Suna shinobi?

Out of all of the Suna shinobi, mine would be Sasori. It's partially out of the fact that my favorite method of fighting involves the use of puppets, and partially out of the fact that he can control an army of puppets at his command.

I would say Sasori also
I like his puppets jutsu but my favorite is Chiyo puppet jutsus

I dont have much info.....

The Sand Village has a Kazekage. Garra is Kazekage in the Advanced Naruto Version. The Suna(Sand) and Kohona(Leaf) had a big battle, whitch ended the life of the 4th Hokage. As you might have geussed, the Sand Village is covered in sand. Garra, his Sister Temari, and Brother Kankuro, were part of the invasion on the Leaf Village. But later, when in need, Garra, Temari, and Kankuro Help Naruto and Other Ninja Genin.

Well, that would be useful. It would give people info on critical information, or events that are occurring.

Okay, here's a new subject: what's your favorite jutsu from Suna? Mine is probably Gaara's Imperial Sand Burial, where he has a wave of sand cover his enemies and then he compresses it, crushing everything below.
