A man who bit off his best friend's nose during a fight in East Lothian has been jailed 40 months.

Charles Cassidy, 20, bit the tip of John Brash's nose off in February in a fight after a party in Tranent.

Cassidy, who pleaded guilty in May to assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement, had earlier squeezed hair removing cream on Mr Brash's head.

Mr Brash, who had hoped to be a model, told BBC Scotland he would never be able to forgive Cassidy.

Well, even if the guy didn't pay for the surgery for the victim, the least is that he's in jail. =/
Lot that'll do for the world. One less nose-biter off the streets.

Damn! That's going a bit far. But they agreed to fight, unfortunately one of them suffers a huge dis figuration. But its obviously the other guy won, he should have stopped there, so yeah, the suspect took things a bit farther than they needed to go... Its a shame though, they were best friends and they let a silly argument result in such chaos. Oh well...
