Shadow is the black one. Pretty sure he has other defining features other than his black fur type shit though, and I don't think he is Sonic's brother either. I think he was created by some scientist guy or some shit, actually.

It was Sonic, if you read the back of the case it says he becomes Soulless the Hedgehog.
It's a fake, the pic says VGboxart.com, that site is where people make covers for fake games, games that already exist, or games under development. I did a background check and found that there is no game under the name of Sonic the hedgehog 2, unless you're talking about the old Sega systems. Mib was right, this thread is shit. Now, for ppl that aren't sure of Shadow, well he was artificially created by Dr. Robotnik, otherwise known as Dr. Eggman, to rival Sonic.
