I think it's a book Jiraiya wrote about a gutsy ninja.

...that's it.

Not EVERYTHING needs some plotline signifigance...I mean, it's where naruto got his name...That's about all it needs to be.

Afterall, they've already figured out what book the code is from.

Makeout tactics.

They had a whole like two chapters on this, remember?

The katakana: Ta, from Takuchikusu, which is how tactics would be spelled katakana, followed by the page numbers matches up with the code jiraiya sent.

Now...I'm not sure...but If the title was in English. "Za- Rejyando(?) ofu za- gatsushi ninjya" (if i misspelled or misused a katakana, lemme know) in katakana. Notice a lack of the letter Ta, in any of those words.

I'm not sure what it'd be in japanese, but they wouldn't use katakana for the title if it was in japanese, so.

the Katakana Ta in Jiraiya's code rules out this book to get the code from

I think pa toad gave naruto the book because it reminded him of naruto and it had meaning to naruto beacuse Jiraiya wrote it. When ninjas have been inspired they do amazing things and i think this was one of them...

Well thats the book how naruto got his name so there must be something in their that may help him do something, maybe it was originally minato's copy because i am pretty sure he had one and maybe there is some kind of writing in it from jman or minato

OOH! OOH! Better yet! He opens to the last page of the book and its a scroll for a super jutsu of awesome that activates and shoots claws out that rip out Naruto's eyes and give him NEW eyes that have the Sharingan and the Byakugan and the Rinnegan! Implanted in all these eyes are super jutsu! Like the Kamehameha! and Amaterasu! and Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki! and Giga Drill Breaker! and a hotplate!

Yeah...i am a super genius at coming up with unsubstantiated theories!

I really...really...REALLY doubt that Naruto will EVER learn flying thunder god. He's not a lightning element and the name of flying THUNDER god suggests that it uses lightning manipulation.

^Or maybe it was named that way because you have the ability to travel like the freakin LIGHTNING!! We dont really know what the elemental composition of Space-Time for all we know the special kunai is the one that makes you travel in this dimentions.

All the kunai does is help him pinpoint where his men are, it is not needed, it is tied in to his jutsu because he wanted it too.

Thanks, exactly what I was thinking.

It is stated nowhere in the manga that he needs his kunai to teleport, Minato tells Kakashi that this kunai gave some kind of alarm after it was thrown.

However, when Minato arrives at the battlefield he orders his men to throw a bunch of his kunai towards the enemy, that implies that these kunai are somehow related to his FTG jutsu.
