but the problem with that is
do i buy it for the ds
and have updated graphics and crap
or buy it for gba
and have the nastalgic graphics

for me its
gba > ds

Well, there's voice acting, cutscenes, and shit. Also, Rydia has some customizable summon thingy, and the biggest addition is decants. Basically, you can assign things like Kain's Jump to any character, but it's limited.

They didnt until they ported them to portable Nintendo/Sony systems, in terms of sales or gameplay. No one cared about them. FFVII made the biggest impact out of any FF in America, commercially and critically.
