So like my MSN wont work, keeps saying it has to trouble shoot the problem but everything comes up checked when its done yet it still won;t work, so I clicked on tools > options > connection and it says I am not connected to .NET Messenger Service but I am connected through a wireless network connection. So like whats that mean? Everything else seems alright, do i need to connect to this .NET Messenger Service and if so how?

I only ask here since the smartest members post in this section the most, don't be shy, help and Obama out so he has something to see after work.

It means that there are problems with your connection..if you have two pcs connected with the same modem or router then it might be an ip conflict with another one in the system which mean that you have either to reconfigurate your modem/router or re install your msn.

Did you do anything before the problem started happening? By anything I mean stuff like using a new computer, resetting your modem, new internet provider, downloading notzavirux.exe, etc.

Did you check if a firewall/anti-virus isn't blocking the connection?
You could also try installing the latest MSN version or downgrade to the one that previously worked before the problem.

yeah I get an IP conflict every now and then but its worked b4

Well my net was out for a few days then a repair man came and fixed it, I think he did re set the modem and switch some wires outside to get it to work ._.

I'll have to try that too I guess, whats the old one? like link maybe? I don't know much about computers

Go here and download messenger again. Or you could try the crappy MSN by clicking the MSN icon on IE7.
