I really don't think he's dead. Most of the time when someone dies then they're just dead, theres no question about it. Kishi keeps dragging it on so people can speculate but I dont' see the purpose of him doing that if he was actually dead. He's just unconscious.

Kakashi is going through a near death experience now. He is on the brink of death, having taken such a beating from Pain and being drained from using his MS.

The slug Tsunade sent would not be attending to Kakashi if he wasn't still partially alive. The fact that Tsunade had the expression she did was that she was surprised to sense Kakashi in that state.

He needs to be taken to the hospital and there he will recover. This is the big moment for Kakashi this year (so far) that Kishi talked about, and he will be changed for the better because of it.

Damn Kishimoto-sama you! My whole purpose for reading this manga was to see if Kaka-sensei was dead yes or no. (I already had tissues and stuff at handy...) But back, I don't think he's going to die. I mean he has the whole 'talking to daddy in Limbo thing' and right afterwards his father will send him back to the real world and Kakashi will wake up in th Hospital. Hearing that the Godaime is... (dead? beaten? pwned by an old man?) While in coma we see more flashbacks.

BTW, no, Sasuke is not going to take revenge for his part. Not before his mind is changed of wanting to destroy a village...

Sure, he'd probably only go blind in one eye. And since he always keeps the Sharingan covered when not using it, he's probably pretty used to fighting with no depth perception as it is.
