Hell yeah, Kakashi's demonstrated the most broad use of jutsu's in the Naruto Universe (almost on par with Jiraiya and Orochimaru in terms of jutsu's shown). Kakashi can use several elemental jutsu's, can use the MS, and can use the rasengan; however, he is handicaped by a small chakra pool and the sharingan draining his chakra.

However, I can almost see why Kishi did this. If a character as good as Kakashi has all these jutsu and is not a sannin, then the low chakra pool is a way to limit their power. In other words, if Kakashi didn't have a low chakra pool/amount then he would argueably be Hokage level already. His low chakra level is meant to keep characters from reaching godly levels and inhibit making every other ninja in the world look pathetic in comparison.

Detcelfer has a good point. Kakashis relationship with his father wasnt too great. I could see him paching things up.

To a differant point. Why would kishi have kakashi tell sakumo his life story unless hes not staying long. I see paching thing up with his father will give him the drive to live. Also, giving him the drive to watch over the next generation just as his father couldnt do for him. But with greater resolve. Enough to propel him to becoming hokage when tsunade steps down or kicks the bucket.

No I dont think Kakashi is deaded.

I think someone will save. He can't die just like that Lol. He still has stuff to do in naruto.

Kakashi is going to have a fever dream where he meets a tin man, and a girl with a dog. They go to the emerald city and he scores a new brain from Oz then wakes up in the konoha hospital. He sees Pakkun there with Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto being Toto, Dorothy, the Tin Man with no Heart, and the Courageous Lion. Or Sai instead of Sasuke might be better, since he had no emotions, and is trying to learn them (like get a Heart).
Sai fits better than Sasuke.

I also viewed it as a means to move the story along and not just a handicap - though you're right. Its a combination of keeping him cool, but not so cool he eclipses those that would diminish the story.

I agree with you in someway about Kakashi not being dead. But him being hokage don't see that happening.

Kakashi ain't dead, main characters don't die that easily. He will either come back to life or was mortally wounded and get healed, or do something amazing and be alive and well again.
