If not kakashi, then another major character in the series...but it makes sense for kakashi to kick the bucket now.. he isn't needed anymore, he is a teacher, and naruto, sakura and sasuke certainly dont need to be taught at this stage, thats all the series has been about up until now.. im sick of naruto training!!! specially by someone of less ability, he is not hokage material, and most importantly, -- he isnt strong enough to protect the village from the threats they face now.

Ok so you're saying Kakashi's not strong enough to protect the village, so he might as well die... and he's one of the best shinobi in the village, and so then by that logic, the whole village should die, except like 5 people, woo-hoo that's gonna be fun to read about... the adventures of the last 5 wandering shinobi...

He isn't needed as a teacher anymore, his only other side use is being a fighter to protect the village.. and he can't even do that anymore!! He got owned by pain in like 2 hits. Sorry to burst ur bubble but Kishi has to make sacrifices in the series, even if it means killing of greatly loved characters. Jiraiya died. He was also a mentor to naruto. He was also very strong. But because he had nothing left to give to the series he had to go. Naruto doesn't need a mentor anymore!!! People seem to lack the brain capacity to understand what this means, and the action kishi needs to take to show naruto is growing up, and standing alone without a shoulder to cry on.
I don't want kakashi to die, i love his character, but it makes sense.

In order to gather and use Sage chakra a person needs to keep his physical, spiritual and NE energies in perfect balance. So Naruto's chakra control has to be pretty damn good otherwise he would have become a frog statue by now.

Jiraya left the scroll with the seal combination behind for Naruto. He just hasn't gotten it yet.

Explain how kakashi can stop the kyubi ?? If you're refering to the Seal tag jiraya made those.

Kakashi's a famous ninja well known beyond Konoha and if u think it's his fault for putting up a better fight than most of the village combined, then so be it... cus he was the one to weaken god realm, send the info to tsundae, who then gave it to naruto to use... kakashi almost won and the rest of the village wasn't even fighting god realm and blown to pieces... sure naruto can do a lot, but kakashi existed BEFORE naruto, it's not like kakashi was born to teach naruto
