Book/Literature section, perhaps?

I think that it would be cool to have a section for books and the like. People who are into Naruto have surely read some awesome books that they would like to talk about. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, To Kill A Mockingbird, and my personal favorite, Dune. It would be nice to have a section where people who are smart enough to read good books can talk about them. What say ye, supreme overlords of NL?

we have movie & tv section, also music section. why can't we have book/literature section. or maybe it can be combined with manga section?

erm..ill have to disaggre with u there.a lot of people read books.dont know about nl tho.anyway i think its a good idea.

Its a a stupid section what can I say...=/

Besides, most books are one of a kind when people read them, except ones based on movies which everyone reads. I dont think it would go to far when people are reading different books, etc.

You can try it but, I bet it doesnt go far.

I have nothing against books its just that many people read too many different books, thus lowering the chance that someone else has read that book. Also, much of the people visiting NL are young and many don't yet like to read and enjoy its company.

Making a martial arts thread would be even better than a books section.

Bold = That's an understatement.

Pshaw... Kagami is cruel... insulting intelligent people just because he's too lazy to read good books! Maybe a popular/classic literature section? Then unknown book threads can be taken out.

I said I had nothing against books and do not assume that I don't read. I believe I am a very intelligent and calculating person. I just did not feel the urge to explain myself in such detail as I assumed people would have realized that with a member base comprised of 14 year olds who all hate school no less; the section wouldn't get far.

If it were subforumed maybe it could work but I don't think a separate forum for it would suit NL's needs.

I didn't hate school when I was 14. As for your suggestion, a book section is unneeded here on NL. If you want to discuss books with people, go to a book forum, or find peopel who will join you in the Spam Zone. Maybe you'll even be lucky enough to inconspicuously slip it into the "Naruto Manga" section without the mods noticing and add to your post count with it. Of couse, the NL mods aren't incompetant, so I don't see that happening anytime soon.
