Anyone evr think When Zetsu Takes the Body of the Dead that he Actually Takes there Chakra also? It's obvious he has chakra to spare. Just a Thought.

I've been wondering about this as well. To start let's look at his currently known abilities.

1) He can move through any known material. He's moved through the ground, wood, stone, and probable any other solid surface.

2) He shown an ability to fuse with people and absorb their chakra and then redistribute it (to sasuke).

3) He can somehow see and record events and replay them at a later time. I don't remember him doing it, but madara said something about wanting to watch the itachi fight footage later on. http://www.narutocentral.com/manga.p...ruto&c=396&p=7

So based on that lets speculate shall we.

His recording and absorbing abilities could go beyond images and chakra. He might be able to fuse with a body and copy information directly from the victims mind. What we call memories and thoughts are nothing more then electrical impulses which come together in certain variations and coding to like a computer. But also keep in mind (no pun intended) that according to the manga every cell in the body also has a chakra network that links the cells together and are able to transfer chakra to and from those cells for jutsu's. I believe the brain cells are also connected, thus the reason why genjutsu is possible. In this way Zetsu might have some sort of unique Bloodline ability that allows him to hack into his opponents network and retrieve information by using the chakra network as a reverse genjustu. What I mean by that is instead of manipulating someone to see what you want them to see (which is genjustu), he instead see's what his opponent see's/thinks/remembers (reverse genjutsu) thereby copying their information for himself.

That's my opinion anyways. There are 4 reasons I believe this.

1) As I said above his abilities seem to fit. He's seems capable of doing something like that. It would actually make his character interesting for a change.

2 It would be strange if he could create a hologram to recreate the Itachi fight for madara, and I sure as hell don't see him sticking his head in a VCR and hiting play. LMAO!!! A more reasonable conclusion is that Zetsu is a genjutsu type and that he uses genjutsu to transfer a copy of the fight into madara's head. Well not really transfer, more like burn a copy onto a DVD (with him having the original memory and madara having a copy).

3. Zetsu knows a lot of shit!!! Seriously, when has he ever seen something and said "Oh, I never seen that before. O_o" How did he know about the sword of Totsuka which was suppose to be a legend only yet he plainly knew what it was. So it's clear he's either really old and has seen a lot like madara or he has some way to gain knowledge. With Ino's dad looking around the mind of Pains long dead body and still being able to find info it doesn't seem so unlikely that zetsu could do the same. And with a lot of S-ranked shinobi in Akatsuki he could have found out a lot of forbidden stuff, either from deceased members or those who failed the qualifying exams.

4. Most akatsuki teams have jutsu's that work well together. That doesn't mean they like each other (Hell Deidara hated Tobi sometimes), but they do work well together if they get along.

When hidan got cut up kakuza could stitch him back together. Tobi could plant diedara's bombs for him. Konan was able to protect Pains real body. Etc...

So wouldn't it be awesome if Madara and Zetsu were the genjutsu Wonder Twins. LMAO!!! And with Zetsu able to gather vast amounts of knowledge and madara wanting Said knowledge, they seem like a good duo.

That's my opinion at least.

tl;dr Zetsu is a human sponge that absorbs knowledge and lets madara squeeze it out of him.


Edit: I almost forgot about madara taking Itachi's body. Most people seem to think it was so he could give sasuke his SG later on. But what if the body was for Zetsu to analyze so madara could gain his knowledge. Do I smell plot twist. That could give him vast amounts of knowledge about the konoha ninja and the village layout because as AFAIK he hasn't been back to konoha since the uchiha massacre but itachi was there a few years ago. Itachi being ANBU would know the village very well and his info would be a big help to Pain later when he attacked. Not to mention all the interesting secrets itachi might know.
