Your underestimating people's opinions on Hinata. We arent saying zomg Hinata is so badass now she tried to fight Pain. Oh wow she is now without a doubt the strongest badass female on Naruto. Now if that were the case then yeah i would say overrated. What you dont seem to understand is the thing with Hinata and why people are talking about her is because for the longest damn time she has been this extremely shy girl and it was aggravating. I have said many times that i like Hinata but i wish she would come out of her shell and finally tell Naruto how she feels and after allllllllllllll this time she finally did. With how shy Hinata has always been this was a huge huge breakthrough for her character and she did what many wanted her to do which was stand her ground for a change and make some kind of breakthrough. So what people are happy she finally did and that doesnt make her overrated just because she had a character breakthrough. Also you sit here and want to talk about NaruHina fans and then want to post a link telling us we cant say anything about them in this thread when you did. Ha yeah right to bad i am. You want to talk about Naruhina fans when narusaku fans are just as bad. Not one time did you say anything about them. Just attacked naruhina fans. Biased much.

Lol some one dove pretty deep to rescue this thread from the depths.

Itachi- After his fight with Sasuke Uchihatards have gone ballistc when it comes to this guy. I've read some of the most retarted arguments concerning Itachi's abilities.

He can kill anyone just by looking at them
He is too fast to get hit
His seal speed is so fast enemies can't counter attack
He can beat Pein

Seriously, this guy was very strong but he is not a god as some perceive him to be.

Hinata at this point sucks in a fight. I find it laughable how some people think she stands a chance in a fight against Sakura or Temari(two former female genin that actually can kick arse). As for NaruHina or whatever I'm not getting into that in this thread.

Edit: I agree with the above statement Itachi has become overrated as well.

Hinata is basically both overrated and underrated. Few people here actually care for the character aside one aspect of her personality...

Overrated? Kakashi easily. Underrated? I would say Lee, Sasuke and Kurenai: she hardly gets any recognition. I have disregarded fighting capabilities.

The Itachi verus Pain discussion was sort of god awfully dellusional... yes the "leader" of Akatsuki for most of the series is weaker than one of its members...yup sure why not..

Well, duh.

She is a reconnisance ninja to begin with.
Though I think people misrecognize the Gentle Fist. If it is anything like Ba Gua, then Sakura with her brawling would be of little use.

People relate her to Neji as if she can actually fight as good as him. But the fact is she can't & got schooled while Neji was simply playing with her & telling her to back down. Her moment of glory against Pain resulted in her getting pwned in seconds. Sakura would destroy Hinata easily but this isn't a VS thread so I'm stopping here.

Sakura aside her monstrous strenght has not displayed any skill in close combat, at least not something that I could see as her own. Hinata has been groomed intro the thing.

Generally, against Gai's pupils few have a chance in close combat. And Neji is given as a particularly talented genius on the field. Despite Hinata being obviously less gifted, nothing actually points out that Sakura or Hinata are on a discernable level in martial arts.

Big strenght mean little if you cannot use it properly.

I think Orochimaru's overrated, he's fight with Sasuke was kind of lame, I though he would be stronger.

He was sick & got ambushed... If anything Orochimaru is underrated because of what happened with Itachi & Jiraiya's little hermit mode.

I don't think Oro is overrated. He is right where je sould be. The problem is how he lost to Sasuke which was the most retarted way possible. He was a beast, able to tank nearly anything and live and yet Kishi had him lose to Sharingan by defaut.

He is too fast to get hit? Well, its more like hes so fast its hard to hit him.

His seal speed is so fast enemies can't counter attack? This ones actually based on facts. When itachi fought kakashi, kakashi said he couldnt read itachis hand seals they were so fast.

He can beat Pein This one osnt fact , but is possible for the simple reason itachi not only has powerful jutsu, but the ability to coordinate all of his skills to be used at one time such as setting a trap with a karasu bushin while gatherring info with his SG to form a startegy.

ANyways, I dont think itachis overrated at all. More like underrated if people believe he wouldnt stand a chance against pain whos is 6 bodies with one ability each, while itachi is 1 body with a more than 6 abilities each, that can also become 6 bodies with more than six abilities each.

Just so you know based on so called Databook stats (since you brought it up) Sakura is faster then Hinata. Just felt like looking since you mentioned it. Anyway I'm out, later people.
