Oh I'm stoked for the third. Have it payed for and pre-ordered. Probably the only game this year I'll go to the midnight premier for. My favorite series for Xbox so far.

I just kind of blank out anything involving Desmond and the Animus.

Like, the story arc of the individual assassins is great. But the superfluous conspiracy shit really doesn't excite me.

Oh God. I put the first one down for like 9 Months, then came back to it, turns out I was one mission away from finishing the game, it just got too repetitive. 2 was great, variety of missions, kept me entertained. Brotherhood was fantastic. the additon of the recruit assassin was awesome. Revelations however just bored me it was like playing two all over again in the setting of one. It wasn't as painful to finish as the first, but it was still UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I never really had a problem with any of them. I didn't really like the movement outside of the animus, but now that I've played through all of them, it's kind of cool how the more you go through in the animus, the better Desmond actually gets. Revelations had him moving around quite Assassin like. The aliens were a weird twist, but I'm just kind of seeing where they're going with it. To me it wasn't too repulsive. I'm really excited for the setting of the next one though.
