Ugh, just found out about the Sandy Hook Massacre conspiracy theory, and spent 3+ hours looking at a few pro-conspiracy, but mostly anti-conspiracy debunking videos just to make sure. I haven't wasted time like this since I found out about the Illuminati conspiracy theory.

I've only really checked up on two conspiracy theories in my lifetime, but so far every time I do so it really drains my humanity, because I find out how overwhelming the percentage of people who participate in the comments/debates is in favor of the conspiracy theory.

I hate all conspiracy theories with a passion. Most people that start them are fucked in the head, can't logically explain a situation that they experience or are simply stroking their massive egos. I'd seriously like to meet some of these people face to face to debate them.

You masochist. The only thing I miss from that thread is the fact I had an accident when we were discussing about creationism so I couldn't continue. Man, how I wish I could be there at the time to deliver a can of whoop-ass science. Now all I have is fucking KYF evading a proposal to discuss biodiversity for who knows how many months.

@ the Relunctant Hero posters: the best part is that the correct title of the movie is in the middle of the katakana as ダイ・ハード (Dai Haado).

Note: I remember my mother-in-law picked up a, uh, quasi-legal copy of Beowulf from a Chinese owned flower shop (yeah). The subtitles were stuck on because, well, the menus were all Chinese and we didn't know where to go. Anyway, the movie was still in English but had subtitles that were transcribed from the Chinese script (I dunno why). Beowulf was officially known as AO General Shellfish Man.

It greatly improved the film experience.

Once I got an hold of a, well, quasi-legal as ACt puts it nicely, copy of Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. I still believe the subtitles were the dumpster baby from a Latin languages orgy, but good thing the English audio was intact.

(Such an odd û in the middle of the katakana in the Die Hard 4 poster).
