Just as planned.
"whose footprints are these?"

Dumb soldiers, if they knew who was waiting for them arround the corner to kick their genetically modified ass.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

I'd buy a PS3, if it let me play all the MGS games in one place.

But no, apparently backwards compatibility isn't important. Seriously, if I could get hold of a PAL PlayStation 3 with an emotion engine, hell, even software emulation, that would sway me a bit.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

The fight against The End in MGS3 was one of the best on the series IMO, it took me a while to kill that old man, actually the 3 sniper fights (Sniper wolf, The End and Crying wolf) were damn good.

Some of them, but the new models don't allow it anymore, they say it's to reduce cost.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

Well, i guess that's the difference, i LOVE using a sniper in Killzone 2 or CoD WaW, even if i'm better with the assault rifles i like snipers the most.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

The sorrow was looooong, wasn't even a fight. The End was easy cause I let him shoot me on purpose then sniped his black ass back.

Vulcan Raven fight was pretty fun in MGS1.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

Agreed, Raven was badass.

That fight was set to be great, you could kill him however you wanted to, setting C4 or claymore mines, the stinger or nikita, firearms, etc. he sure was though.

Damn, some great memories of that game, guess i'll play it again some day.

I lol'd when you find the Raven's action figure in MGS2

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

MGS 2 was unbelievably easy that it was disappointing, I completed it on European Extreme. Google the rules and you'll see how hard it was meant to be under those conditions, but what can I say I am awesome.

He was easy on Normal or Easy difficulty.
On Hard and Extreme, where you do not have the Radar, he is a lot harder.
You can't rely on Claymores since you can sit on them yourself. Only if you see him coming, or if you run along the wall and put Claymores in the center of the pass between the boxes.

Re: The Longest Thread Ever v28

I just stayed around 2 sets of boxes so I knew his location for the first portion of it. It took time to deplete his life though.

Maybe i should try, i've finished MGS1, MGS3 and MGS4 on the highest difficulty.

But it seems way harder on MGS2, i was reading that most of times bosses will kill you in 1 hit, right? Sounds like fun.
